Personally, I've been feeling really content with it lately. Like when I think about it... just a few years ago who would have thought that Sushant would make it this far? Major producers and directors, big budget movies, elite magazine covers, award nominations... if I ever thought about it, it was more like a dream than something I thought would be real. Not to undermine him, but it really is a little surreal because stuff like this almost never happens. What I'm trying to get at here is that he has made it this far, and from here the battle isn't quite so uphill. I never expected him to become some kind of superstar, so as long as he does good work and is happy with it, then I'm chill with it too.

I'm just going with the flow for now. A song lyric I think of frequently with regard to Sushant and his career, "jo hona hai woh hona hai, phir kis baat ka rona hai?"

Saoirse Ronan is an Irish actress. She has got one academy award and been nominated at BAFTA quite a few times.

I am not worried bcos of the gap. Today the audience is fickle, they go alibg with flavour of the season, koi commitment nahi hai.
Sid and varun had no release for almost 16 months after soty. Ditto with Alia. Two big films, and suddenly everyone feels she has overttaken pari, who was the critics favourite in Feb during htp. Arjun was written off after aurangzeb. Everyone thought he was over. But he bounced back with gundey and 2 states.
Sushants career is not gong down. It's just that last year he had films getting released and doing well, he was the flavour last year. This year these guys hv the films coming up and so they are the stars of this season . Things will turn around for sushant after pk, dbb and especially paani.
Today one good film is all that is required to become a seasonal star. Kangana was everywhere after Queen and Alia after Highway. Sushant will be everywhere during DBB.
What excites me is that he is thinking long term- he has great projects which can turn out to be really pathbreaking and remembered for their content, not random hits. That is gonna really help him. Already, with the offers of projects he is getting, it is obvious that the industry sees him as someone in btw sid and rajkumar rao.
Abhi sid aur bakiyon ka time hai. It's okay. Sushsnt ka bhi time ayega. My only problem is that I don't hv the patience to wait for news slowly trickling in. I want some big announcements NOW.

It wouldnt make sense to for Sushant to be attending or taking part in such events right now...

Dunno about Pari or Ayushmaan, but Sushant's case is different yaar.. He is prepping for Paani... shooting is in August... YRF probably wants to once for all make a big announcement about Paani in a PC or something once the actors fly down to India...

Plus I feel , YRF is still a bit finicky about Sushant's whole TV actor image ... and dont really want him to attend these TV related events ..

And like Niki said, it is all about who is currently in news for their films.. that media starts elevating ... SDR released last Sept, DBB will release Feb next year ... So Sushant has no films this year apart from that role in peekay..

Next year it will be all about him , DBB , Paani.. Biopic shooting and maybe more announcements after DBB releases..

He's a Sushant fan. Last year in Jan, he was planning to make the Sushant FC, don't know whether he made it or not.

I hope this Ayushmann FC thing is repeated by @ManVsHandle for Sushant Singh!! Hope he (Sushant :-p) lives up to the expectations!!

He has also tweeted a bit about the casting of Fan. Again, we'll have to wait and see how accurate his tweets are.
