yeah...well..its not like I'm sleeping around with guys or doing drugs or getting drunk and stuff right? lol...I know my limits and I have my own beliefs and values that I won't compromise with...its just...because of his mentality, there's a generation gap between us...my mom has done well in terms of adapting to the changing ways...my dad, not so much...he still expects us to live as if its the 1980's and that's just not gonna work.😆😆 I've spent half my life in India and half of it here (quite literally)...and I've managed to find a common ground between the two cultures...I take the better things from both...so I'm not completely canadian but I'm not traditional Indian either.

The stupidest part is he turns around and goes like 'hey! U guys r all here'. I was like whispering to him 'duh! U r soo dead!' Then he turns around towards me and comes to hug me saying 'what's the matter baby'. Good thing his mom spoke up. She was like 'so u r serious about her?'. He was like 'god mom. I gave her a ring. Now y would I do that if I wasn't.' And she was like 'u r sure marriage is on ur mind?'. He was pissed by this point. He was like 'Mom, stop interrogating me like this. I will marry her and if u don't believe it then it is not my problem'. He just said it and was gonna leave. I just held his hand preventing him from going and then I was like 'Aunty, we truly love each other. There is no doubt about that. I trust him. He won't hurt me'. And I was saying hell of a lot more. And then I was like 'u saw our confession on tv. How can u doubt him even after those words'. And then his brother was like 'yes mom. Be easy on him. Do what Sindu does. She is soo easygoing. If not, how else would she kiss him like that.' And then she was like 'okay okay. Arjun I trust u. I just wanted to know u won't hurt her. I practically raised her and I would have been really unhappy with u if u were taking her for a fling as well.' And then she looked at me and was like 'I m happy for the both of u. We will talk about everything later. Let's get on with the party'. But then my mom was still glaring at me. They walked off and let me and Arjun alone. And he was just waiting to run away.

Lol. I guess I have a middle ground. I would prefer watching some movie. Maybe will try that! I would prefer him going home at night but he leaves at like 4 am at night. I kinda like that he is staying but it kinda doesn't look nice. Especially if my mom or his mom knows. Since my room is near the back door, it is all fine. But it looks scandolous. My dad knows. And he is like 'Arjun, handle my daughter with care. No horse play'. He still teases me about the kiss. And Arjun takes that as a green signal and gives his two cents when all three of us are in a room.
