Savvy-ve, you should give it a dekho. If nothing else you will see woriginal Buaji's house and feel nostalgic 😉 And they moved from Bhopal to Punjab while staying in Mumbai of course 😛

Doc that is it exactly! There is nothing much to get. I am mostly a WU reader of two shows but once in a while give a dekho when things sound interesting. I am never at a loss for what is going on because of the Satyanashers here. There is always someone giving updates 😃 Today, had tome at hand so read WU and then watched 4 shows in 20 mins. I have perfected the art 😆 Haven't watched the Sense and Sensibility adaptation. I will wait for people here to see if it is worth it.

Yup you said it - watch till it is good, if not dump and move on. Waiting for a good show is not going to happen.

Oh really? I don't know why the PH keep on pulling the show as elastic if there is nothing else to show. Indian TV should seriously go the seasons way. What do the creative get by writing the same crap is beyond me. Gul has some problem for sure and she really needs to learn how to close shows on high if she needs to sustain in this industry. This is her straight third show which is going to have a satyanash ending.

I only partially agree with you. There should be true seasons, yes. But I don't think the PH has much of a say in it. They start the show, take the shows forward but can't say when the show ends. That is the channels call and those are the ones who make the PH stretch the shows like elastic. There is a basic premise when the show starts, when that is done, what is the poor PH to do if they are not allowed to close the show?

In my two years of following Indian TV, I haven't seen even one that ended gracefully. There has been some drama or the other. In fact by going along with channel wishes, I think, Gul is doing exceedingly well to sustain in this industry.

@hain:- Agree that the channels ask the PH to keep on extending the show but not all shows can be stretched at will. For that the PH should have a complete story at hand and they should know how to add some twists and turns but keep the essence intact.

The PH which are slowly becoming master at this is the mittals and the Yash patnaik's. Take the case of candle and wick show. It will be 3 years since the show started but it is only now they got the lead to be an IPS officer. The creatives started to work on the track 6 months beforehand and they selected the cadets for 6 months cameo. They had an unit stationed in Harayana and kept on shooting the IPS track. Hence the show connects with the audience. Similar is the case of veera - the show started at exactly the same day as QH but the story is not even at the mid point.

Love stories can't be extended beyond their shelf life. It is just a torture to the fans and the audience.

And yes going by all things Mahabharata is going to end gracefully in august. The show has absolute media blackout and hence no SBS/SBB promotions and was in production for 3 yrs and now they had the end planned out by august. From sept till now not one episode is bad and the grandeur is maintained even now.
