Ek hasina thi has caught my attention for now; I agree with Pri that it feels like a suspense novel unfolding one day at a time. I hope they maintain the pace too but I cannot imagine for how long they can continue to keep each episode as gripping. Still don't like the ML though; he seems reallly wooden and almost expressionless😕

Meena, vastal is not the lead per se - he is the negative lead. IMHO the person that will be paired with durga will be introduced later when the revenge is done.

Everyone is playing mind games😲😲.. that was one packed episode. I agree with Meens not sure how long that can maintain this pace but it is intriguing.. the heroine has a history..now Jeh hui na baat!! 😃 The sets were impressive.. an office that is a high rise office building😉 Saaskshi Goenka is well cast.

Pri, when did this start? Are they maintaining the same pace they did today for most days?

It started last Monday, so its been a little over a week. The first episode was fab, the second I thought was disappointing and then I skipped a couple😳. But I caught up with it over the weekend and though I haven't watched today's yet the pace is pretty packed and I totally agree most of the cast is impressive and everyone seems to have strong character sketches. How long the powerful characters and tight screenplay continues to hold fort is anyone's guess😆

yep...same pace...it is a v good effort on the part of the eht team...needs to be applauded...started on 14th april...i cant beliee it is just 8 days n man is this show packed or what...i just feel they must be having a bound script for this show...as in as of now no changes for trps...there is no other way the execution can be this tight...

Simone Singh as sakshi is awesome. She actually gave me goosebumps when I first saw her in Thursday's episode. Classy vamp who can give everyone a run for their money. Ayub khan is okayish as the father.

The show was in making for over 3 years Pri. They wanted Sanjeeda for the lead role and when she opted out to do dastaan they put the show on hold and once Sanjeeda was free, the ph again tried the show. Luckily this time SP gave them the backing. Finally SP is backing female leads who are not innocent girls waiting for love. And I can see why the ph wanted sanjeeda only for the role. She gets the mix of innocence and cunning perfect and excels in dramatics. I think they have bank of about a month of episodes. Read it in TC interview of the producer.

Although my sister got me upto speed with the story today may not be the right day to start watching it! Felt a little Deja Vu with the lecherous BIL who was doted by everybody in the family... on the other hand EHT turned out to be a surprise package lets see what happens phront phront...
As far as the desi version of Swayze's sway goes both did really well but who ever is responsible for song selection should give Gul a call ASAP and get some tips that lady has an impeccable song selection!!

There is a new promo on air for yhm. Looks like ishitha is going to spill the beans out on the leachy BIL. And looks like this is going to be a fight with battle lines clearly drawn. I still am surprised that ekta is weaving such an awesome story. Just please don't ruin this with the ekta twists.
