JLZ set out with such a beautiful concept. Not unique but good. Sony can learn a thing or 2 from LifeOK. They do not have high TRP so they are letting their makers to tell their own story then twist and turn the shows for TRPs ... Ever since they have started doing that ... Viewership has improved from 225 to as good as 385 within a year.

What to do ... Sony got the niche touch ... Will take time 😛

more than a fighter a normal girl with dream of being an IPS officer. Everything in the show has been about that. How she collides with an illiterate head strong woman -Bhabo and her dreams shatters. How unconditional love and support of Suraj makes her dare to dream again.

Whatever phase they have shown it has always been about Sandhya getting that one step forward to her dream. That has been the tone of the show. Yes there are lots of things I myself do not like to watch but they are definitely doing something right to keep the viewers hooked. Of the scenes I have seen of Suraj and Sandhya ... The kind of bond is heartwarming.

One was when Sandhya questions about why he supports her so much that too going against his mother and his answer was - I never had dream of my own but knowing yours makes me want you to achieve it and live it with you.

Another when Bhabo accuses him of dancing on Sandhya's tunes - When I did something beyond me for my parents or siblings I have been declared the best son/brother and now as I did something for my wife I am called a spineless man. Well I do not accept the accusation. I stand by my wife as she has done nothing wrong.

These 2 scenes will always remain with me as a viewer.

They have also shown Sandhya to be quite headstrong from the beginning. If she utters she will do it. She knows her limitations but she will work hard as much as needed to achieve it.

I may sound like DABH shipper ... I am not but this show has its own plus.

In general TV viewers loves to watch supportive relationships and one general tone in the show. If you got that give them any crap of a track they will take it but yes that track should have a proper fitting end before jumping on to next phase. They definitely do not have time to ponder about the unclosed loops and make post after post to understand it. Where OL viewers discuss to understand such stupid turn of events ... TV viewers use their remote 😛

That to me is a good social show... one that doesn't preach but compels the viewers to think about right and wrong!

Nandu... I have come to realise that education doesn't mean anything... I have seen the so called educated & cream of society mistreat their wives/children because of their own insecurities and seen uneducated husband treat their wives like a Queen... Of course, this is the extreme. The point I am making is that education doesn't mean anything in situations like this... It's the person and the values he/she holds that matter!

@Bold: I am not a viewer of DABH and most of the time when I change channel, I see something I completely disagree. But occasionally I do get to see things that I actually like & the 2 you mentioned are them. The 2^nd one about being a spineless man is something that men in our society face. And because of that in general, not many wives get their support from their husbands if her in-laws are against her dreams. And I am willing to bet, Suraj's question to Bhabho did get many viewers thinking... And if it got atleast one husband, one MIL thinking then I believe the show has done good.
