Guinea, I hope so too irrespective of whether the bashing will stop or not. If a behaviour becomes a habit it is difficult to get rid of, so best not to keep expectations.

Recently heard from a rather successful person that envy and jealousy is good, that means what you are doing and what you have is quite desirable and the person is faring well. So, Sanaya being in so many conversations and discussions whether relevant or irrelevant to the topic at hand means she has caught the attention of many.

Diya, how did you like Highway?

Bold ...I agree , the behaviour has become a habit now and wouldn't change...I also have seen no desire to change , their is this viciousness which everyone encourages and feeds off ...sad.

I liked Highway ... a very different movie ... there were parts which I could relate to Rangrasiya, as you had already said 😛 ... the biggest difference was of course that Mahaveer was a criminal, and not interested in protecting Veera. I could not understand Randeep Hooda's dialogues at all ... they were too colloquial, I would have liked subtitles, it was that bad. So his side of the story was kind of vague for me ... I just got that his dad was a wife beater. Which made me feel even happier that they have toned down the language in RR.

Alia was surprisingly good ... much better than she was in SOTY, and much, much better than I expected. Enjoyed watching her on screen. I have to say, I had exactly the same questions as I had for Paro ... what about her essential needs for the first day or so 😉 She was tied in the truck for a day and a night before they released her. 😆 The ending was very good ... I am glad they did it that way ... anything else would not have been believable.

Bashing Sanaya ... it is envy and jealousy, that's all ... and a healthy dose of insecurity because the difference post IPK is so stark. That's why I want good news on the BS front ... so that the difference lessens, and the edge is taken off the vitriol ... but honestly, more and more it seems that he will be just a one hit wonder. And he has no one to blame but himself ... and those 'bunch of people' who bayed for the end of the show and made matters worse for him. I hope now they are proud that they got their happy Arhi ending .. it might just have cost their god his career.

Very nice. The initial interviews did talk about an all consuming, intense love and with the way Rudra's character is shaping up, we might see how an extreme of any feeling can also be self consuming and destructive. But I don't think they will go all the way and will end the story at a different place.

Agree with you Diya, Alia was definitely a pleasant surprise, especially compared what she was in SOTY. Matters were made worse as I watched SOTY few hours after landing in India and was zoned out through most of the film.

I liked the concept/ broad story, but the screenplay was jerky, the transition of Alia's character was a bit quick for me and somehow I immediately predicted her backstory then. I did not have many problems with Randeep's dialogues maybe due to my familiarity with the dialect. There was an issue of haves and have nots also attached to his character's story. I liked the ending too, any other would have been contrived.

About the bashing, firstly I do not understand the root cause of it. By now it has become so blind and a habit that I doubt any news will change it. Many who indulge in it, I wonder if they even remember what Sanaya did in the first place that caused them to dislike her to such an extent. Not being a fan is understandable, but hating someone you don't know is not. It is more of fans having ego clashes and trying to get back at each other that has now become a vicious thing. While I do hope all her co-actors find good work, I will not be surprised if comparison posts, and all kinds of new success measures and scales of who is doing better start cropping up. I have least expectations of things improving, so only recourse is to ignore what is displeasing.

I don't go to that forum ...havn't visited since RR started . I used to go there to post the articles on sanaya's new show thread ...so wouldn't know abt this and I am so glad I don't 😆

Just peeped in... seems that some of the rules that we have here on the RR forum are being applied there... combining threads ( twitter , praise , pics) and of course there is that hot controversy over what is considered spamming in terms of Fan Fictions... there is also something about no comparison on FFs...

I guess all of you have noticed new notes on the FFs you have been reading and since IPK has the most , the discussion is there...

Other stuff is only new rules being applied to an old forum...
