Wow! Ekta is making a show based on Sense and Sensibility? How cool is that? When is it starting? Kaunse channel pe? Details please.

Last I heard/ read she was planning to do a second season of Kyunki... 🤢

OMG - yes, yes!!! I just remembered. Shabbir is one of the leads! I do like Shabbir - but I think he's not against Sriti. Because Sriti is playing the older sister and I think Shabbir will be the lead against the younger sister - he will play the older colnel.

I like Shabir, never seen him in a show, only seen him in movies and I quite liked him. Sriti is a good actress, although I am not a fan of her "bechaari, dukhi aatma face"

BTW, my mum watches Beintehaan. She loves it and says it is very interesting I can't believe this! She won't watch RR but she would watch Beintehaan religiously My mum and I never end up watching a show which we both like. 😆 But seriously Beintehaan?

I don't get it either - my and my mom's tv show watching tastes never match. But then, my mom and the tastes of my aunts don't match either. If my mom watches serials, she watches stuff like Ma or Subarnalata. One of my aunts on the other hand loves political drama or crime thrillers - her favourite show used to be this show that aired on Zee Bangla that was loosely based on Mamata Banerjee's life 😆. She would also hate-watch Bhalobasha.com with me and my cousins because we used to love making fun of the absurdities of the show.

My other aunt loves cooking shows - you name a cooking show on Bengali channels and there she is - pen and paper in hand to note down recipes. She totally has a crush on Aditya Bal who used to host a cooking show on NDTV Good Times 😆

Yet another aunt's favourite show in the whole world is the horrific Rashi on Zee Bangla! And this aunt of mine is a professor!!! She loves her trashy tv I guess.

So I can understand why your mom may watch BI but not RR - what appeals to someone is so hard to get a handle on.

Well umz I am liking show so far and the forum too pretty cool and peaceful as compared to my last forum nbt where there was always war going on and ya yhm is very good

Shabbir's good - not the best actor ever, but very tolerable. Sriti poor thing keeps getting these roles - she's exactly the opposite offscreen - she has a great sense of humour and is very cheerful. Too bad Kumkum Bhagya would be another serious sombre role for her - the older S&S sister is supposed to be quiet and reflective.

Karan Patel is a very good actor I did not think he would act and compliment divyanka well and this role of serious and traditional ishita suits divyanka but if they were to follow the book to the t I wonder how would divyanka look in slightly negative and insecure ishita like in book
