BTW Onu - my parents love, love, love Tomai Amai Miley - like serious, ishq wala love 😆. I Skype with them weekend mornings my time and that's when TAM is on air in India and they are so distracted - they can hardly bother to talk to their daughter 😆
There's something about that story that touches a chord with the older generation that's for sure. DABH is such a monster hit in Hindi too. That should be a lesson to tv serial makers - people really want to see women who realise their dreams and a supportive man who doesn't mind taking a back seat.
Tell me about it. My mum loves it too. Yes, Ishq -wala-lau. TAM is aired at 10 pm and RR at 9:30PM. So you can imagine the tussle. My mum starts hounding me to give up the remote even before its time. 😆 She gets really mad at me when she misses the beginning of the TAM because of RR. She has to watch the "recap" too. 😆 Though she never misses an episode. I don't know what appeals to her. The woman who plays Bhabo in TAM, the MIL is a nightmare. 😆 I am always telling my mum that she has no one to practise those wiles. But my mum is definitely hooked.
Aami bollam maa ke je it seems roj ekta case proceedings hoye jekhane the judge is the MIL and the accused is the DIL and the DIL gets bashed most of the times. At other times we have the DIL traipsing all over and doing something "heroic" or giving gyaan to all and sundry. This show really irritates me.
BTW, my mum watches Beintehaan. She loves it and says it is very interesting I can't believe this! She won't watch RR but she would watch Beintehaan religiously My mum and I never end up watching a show which we both like. 😆 But seriously Beintehaan?
