Shaleen Malhotra and Sudeep Sahir shortlisted for Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon

The popular Colors' show has taken a leap but the makers have not yet finalised an actor to star opposite Drashti Dhami

Vivian D'Sena quit Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon when the makers decided to take an 18-year leap. Since then, the producers have been talking about casting a new actor opposite Drashti Dhami. Auditions and screen tests have been conducted and we have 12 names shortlisted.

We got in touch with producer Abhinav Shukla and he said, "We have not been able to finalise anyone so far. We are still in the process. Among all the people we've auditioned 12 people have been shortlisted. Hopefully by Monday we'll finalise on one name. There are multiple names in the market and we've shortlisted actors like Sudeep Sahir, Karanvir Bohra, Shaleen Malhotra among others, but we've not yet made a final decision."

Well, the wait is seriously killing us. Drashti has apparently already started shooting sequences post the leap and we advice the creatives to hurry, or our curiosity will seriously kill us.
