I feel for Bosnia..out if tournament thanks to a onside goal disallowed as offside..I know they had time to score more..but in their defense they had already scored one to keep them alive but for the rookie linesmans poor decision..apparently it was the linesmans first big game..why experiment in such a high profile tournament..
Bosnia's dreamrun comes to an end..well they won hearts if nothing else

Anita: I am hoping Portugal wins over USA 😆 coz it increases Ghanas chance of qualifying by beating Portugal.with Portugal, USA on same points (if Portugal win) and Germany needing against USA to points to qualify I know u wish the opposite..and with their first match performance..ur wish wouldnt really be an upset..Portugal beating USA would be...they were that bad 😆

Awww...when u think these things can be easily avoided with some technology and keeping up with times sort of thinking.

There have been so many upsets in the group matches alone so far that I can't help but hope😳 that the guys in red, white and blue shine through tomorrow to advance to the qualifying 16 round. Their first game against Ghana was meh though. USA win might just do wonders for the sport in this country. American football, baseball and basketball tend to be more popular here amongst other sports but then again these are essentially played within the country. Other than Olympics and Tennis, would like to see a sport where they can compete internationally. The interest is there but expertise has been lacking. With some German infusion, there is hope😉

Just finished watching Germany vs. Ghana - woah, what a second half !!! One of the amazing games of group matches...😃...had not expected a draw but the commentator was saying even before the start of the game that historically, Germany in their second match does not play well. They did the same in 2006 and 2010 WC and might have just repeated the same with this draw. Hats off to Ghana coz Germany is not an easy team to defeat or draw against.

Did not remember the fact from prior WC that two brothers faced each other playing in the opposite teams - J. Boateng (Germany) vs. K. Boateng (Ghana).

Aww the way u put it abt why USA shld win..but then that ia precisely the reason I want Ghana to do well..call me a sentimental fool for that..As a neutral one (as in no connection to either country) to me USA has enough means to promote FB if they want too..Ghana not so much..I know not a reasonable view but cant help it..
Btw how exactly does American football doffer from the normal one

I didnt mnow about the German glitch in group stages..neither about the brothers

Its funny how the games become much more than just games..hopes and happiness intertwined with the results..
I have no hopes tp see India play unless they host the WC (which seems as impossible as anything right now) and they get automatic qualification as host nation

Don't worry, I am being a sentimental fool too when I say that I want Team USA to win. If I see the sponsorships etc. associated with soccer, it is terrible coz the team hardly does well. Its not that there are not enuf soccer leagues and the interest is definitely picking up but it still has some ways to go. Ghana has usually managed to defeat USA and this might have been the first time, thanks to 2nd goal header by Brooks (whose Dad is from USA but Mom is a German).

Since the United States made its Cup entry in 1990 it has faced European rivals 14 times in the tournament and won just once " against the Portuguese in 2002. That was a significant upset. A victory in Manaus would not be. The Portuguese definitely will be without starting defenders Fabio Coentrao (injured) and Pepe (suspended) and probably without hobbled striker Hugo Almeida. And Ronaldo, who has been playing on one good leg, isn't in his customary intergalactic form.

"It would be easy to look and say this is a good time to play [Portugal]," said Bradley. "But the other side says, it's a desperate team that is playing for their lives because they need a result. We have to respect that. We have to understand how much they're going to put into it."

There is nothing remotely similar to soccer. It is run by NFL, has a ball (which is not round) but is carried on foot, hence he name football I guess. I don't follow the sport that is played within the country but the finals is called Superbowl held annually early Feb. I have maybe watched a few of these on my son's insistence. I find the game a little bit too violent and that explains all the protective gear players have to wear.

That is an even long shot atm considering US has hosted in 1994 and tried again to bid for the event but so far have not made the cut. Russia and Qatar have been selected for 2018 and 2022. Aren't some film personalities setting up soccer leagues like they have set up for cricket? I thought I had read that SRK and Shilpa-Raj Kundra were interested in doing so. Long, long ways to go.

Am glad to see Messi score goals this time around considering in the last WC, he did not manage to score a single goal. Between him and Ronaldo, that was a huge disappointment.

Ami, neither yours nor mine's, can't believe it ended with a draw when USA had the game in their hands. How did it slip out😕?

The USA team played very well 👏 way way better than the game with Ghana!!!

they played very well..how on earth did Portugal manage to get a draw..USA should have got 3 points for that
Portugal surivives another day..and Ronaldo is a sore player..no sportmanship spirit..no greeting and shaking hands with other team players
the group remains open..though with a goal difference of -4 it seems virtually impossible for Portugal...

as for JDJ: If Ranvir has been asked to quit this season seems full of Nautanki..and with DB and Malliska as wild carders..it will only get worse..as long as they get trps for this crap they wont care

and the youngistan article..never heard of the site..that sounds exactly like a post bashers would make than a legit article though 😆

will check the videos asap..the american football and DWTS one..I have heard about superbowl..its a huge huge thing there right

What a disgusting read -

http://www.youngisthan.in/tv/drashti-dhamis-ass-got-kicked-she-is-out-from-jhalak-dikhla-jaa/7943

whoever wrote that piece sure has a score to settle with DD...why the blatant animosity towards someone u don't know personally??!! OR he/she obviously belongs to a rival fan group...either which way it's quite offensive.

I like Derek Hough 😳 and the bhangra one was terrific I thought!

The b'wood one did have elements of classical ballet in it...especially the tiptoe and twirl...but the quality of the contestants/performances never cease to amaze me 👏...sorry to say but don't think the Indian version can ever be of the same stature.
