Yeah, still watching RR and continuing with the same feelings. Noticed the name of the new director in the credits yesterday.

I am starting to like BI a little better than before.

RR: status quo for me too but i am loving the forum

most of the writers i loved during IPK are back making posts

SJ, madmaxine, craving khana, jules, mental exotic

now only bhangan and tiyali are remaining from the group that was known as chamelis 😆

BI: i cant take too much saas bahiu saazish so if Aliyah doesnt speak up I will lose interest soon

Am not warming up to DD's nerdy look post leap...i understand it's a camouflage to hide her true 'superstar' looks courtesy of her 'superstar' mom 😉 but I really wanted her to be her father's daughter in terms of personality...but as always NF is out to shock the audience(and not in a good way) yet again!! would people tune in to watch Madhu Jnr,who may well be a replica of her mum attitude wise too, get trampled on by various males/negative entities in her life and thrust into the glamour world forcefully like her mother was??🥱 no thank u...i'm satisfied watching revamped MB on SP at 8.30 instead.

I am sad that RM are no more but was able to view the bomb blast episode yesterday without any attachment. I guess, I surprised myself that way but am going to wonder for some time what could have been. Inspite of all the campaigns, I had full faith on NF to repeat their historical performance of not listening to the viewers. Leap is what they decided and leap is what it was going to be...period, paragraph, end of story...RM fans, you who?

i never had any hopes anyway...tho i did join the twitter campaign but that's mainly cos i thought i owed it to myself being such a crazy RM fan.We have to realise that the twitter and online brigade form a miniscule part of the TRP contributing community...hence whatever we say will always fall on deaf ears.

Wrt VD in talks for a new show, I expected something along those lines given the wording of the tweets and only one month vacation time frame. It would make sense to sign VD right away coz his popularity is high atm.

absolutely...i agree,that guy has a sensible head on his shoulders,so make hay while the sun shines is his motto and rightfully so.

Going by first impressions, DD's nerdy look might be for the purpose of showing her change from an ugly duckling to a swan. The grooming part that was given a miss in the earlier heroine track might be shown this time around. NF faced a lot of flak for their previous heroine track, so am hoping that they do not care to repeat it this time.

my thoughts are that NF has no genuine interest in the show so am not expecting any quality work from them...be it screenplay,execution or casting. BTW Abhay Kapoor has made an appearance in today's epi(as i read in WU)...am curious to know who is playing the role 😳

How are u doing post the bomb blast? R u watching Mahabharat on SP? If so, how are you liking it?

The last epi I watched was 1st feb...didn't and don't have the heart to watch it further,but you never know...if the story is good then I may be tempted to return.I do watch MB...on and off...not addicted at all but an alternative to fill the gap between 8.30-9 😉.what about u?? are u watching it too?

DD played Madhu well too but then Madhu was pale compared to RK from the start and the gap only widened with time as Madhu becme more and more meh
so yeh RK/VD being more for MEIEJ makes sense

RK is to VD what ASR did to BS i think

Bahnno, most of the cyaracters in MB were grey, few more/darker than others
but this new one os polarising the characters..even Karna is made more hero like than he was..subtly but its done.

i don't know the story of MB in details and nor the characters much...just what i've heard(but never read or watched) growing up...so I don't really have anything to compare and contrast the present show to....but i like mythology...and so the current one is doing well in my books so far but even I don't consider Karna a white character,to me he's less grey than others.He was warned by Parshuram that he would have to compromise on 'righteousness'/dharma at some point in his life and he already has by aligning himself with the Kauravas. The Draupadi swayamvar is turning out to be a tedious watch...so i'll be giving the next couple a miss and resume next week.


@Anita: i have see. atleast one-two post by the ones I mentioned in RR forum. they arent completwly regular like SJ
Chamelis were like a gang of hilarious wirters..has SJ, madmaxine, mentalexotica, bhangan, tiyali, expelliarmus, bozynaka amd few others..used to come up woth hilarious posts after IPK episodes..ridiculing a few things/characters/actions/cliches of indian soaps, more so when epis were bad..

most of them stopped posting coz of lack of a show they all liked and bad encounters with MOds in IPK forum because of intolerance of few to jokes though i have to admit they did cross the line more than a few times too
