From my very- very limited knowledge, its seems DD has worked with both KSG (not romantically) and GC. So, there are strikes against them to start with. KVB is another story but then he has mostly enacted negative roles. If rumors are to be believed, the news of KVB paired opposite DD set another round of twitter fury unleashed on NF... 😆 by DD fans. Dunno if the KVB news was true or the twitter ablaze set NF thinking coz the fan base left for this show post leap is DD fan base.

big enough to generate desired TRPs?? i think not anita...cos DD fans are mostly youth and a vast majority of them are online watchers and international audience...which is why she received an unprecedented number of votes for JDJ.

VD wasn't as popular when MEIEJ began compared to where he is now. He has come a long way in terms of acting and PR. Having handled this scenario before, I don't think NF is worrying too much on that front considering they believe (Mehul Chopra's dialogue) that script is the ultimate winner. If they believed in actors, NF would not have taken the step of removing their popular lead!

Having said that, I do get the feeling NF is counting on DD's fans to watch the show going forward.

DD has repeatedly said that not even BW can lure her away from MEIEJ. She seems fairly committed being she is considered the face of Colors, her successful stint in JDJ, her immense popularity in winning over Deepika and Kareena and more stints such as Mission Sapne. I didn't follow this story, but didn't Pratyusha B. break her contract with Colors while doing BV?

yep...that's what I heard too but DD is a committed professional who avoids controversies when it comes to her career,so I believe she will fulfill her contract period...however that she has to do it while being part of a sinking project is just a shame.You know right,once MEEJ sinks further down TRP charts post leap the failure will be attributed to DD who couldn't shoulder the show in VD's absence...mark my words.

well ST thinks a 15-20 yr age gap between the leads is perfectly acceptable and yeah he's the lead.


AK can be a superstar just like Aamir Khan and maybe has a nephew like Imran Khan, who might be more age appropriate for Madhu 2.

If the chr. sketches are anything to go by, NL as the new villain is just as delusional as his numerous predecessors. What are the CVs thinking, or are they? He goes from wanting RK to attend a function at any costs, no matter that RK has a family wedding to hold, gets rebuffed at every opportunity and ends up showing up at RK's house with a movie offer!!! What is NL expecting? That after all the ignominy he attempts to hurls toward RK, he is going to say, "jump" and RK will ask him, "how high?". Does not look like NL has seen K3G!!!

and this is the screenplay that will make TRPs skyrocket post leap!!!! ST & co. and their Godforsaken plots...enough said 🥱

even I haven't watched K3G!!! 😆 is it any good??😕

As for KSG and GC, they were never offered the roles as far as I know..it was a tweet by fake account of ravidra Gautum that created the rumor

well i never had THAT high hopes to begin with 😛

KSG most likely wants to start his own PH and will act in the show. so he gets profit aswell

and GC is not looking towards signing another show now if his IVs are to be believed. besides both of them are really expensive..more than DD, VD, SI and Ashish.so not sure if ST can afford to cast them now

are they both more expensive than VD now??? earlier definitely not any longer I suppose


As for the other one's considered..most of them except Keith have a meh personality and Keith is old now I think

Keith was a 'dude' about 5/6 yrs ago,used to find him quite attractive as host on B4U...but he's way past his sell by date now 😆

according to ST,Abhay kapoor will be around 35 yrs old when Madhu is around 20...how is that possible unless he has managed to become a 'superstar' at 15...which should be his current age!!!🤔 and hence his reply to a fan saying that 35yrs in 'not buddha'...it wasn't in reference to VD's role post leap had he been offered one.

So did they want to go for OSO redux incase VD had agreed?

edit: read that ST replied to someone that VD was offered to play Abhay KApoor, a 35 yr old which is not Bhuddha
