All these suicides just bring back memory of my cousin's suicide 14 months ago. And recently a colleague at work took his life out of nowhere.

I wish people would be a little more open about seeking help and for saying it. We end up putting up this brave facade all the time, that we cant seem to accept that it is okay to be imperfect.

But my maa watches Maa. 🤢 She herself doesn't know why she watches it. She grumbles throughout. She would do other things while the show is one, read the newspaper, make some tea for herself, anything but watch the show. TV ta bas cholte thakey. 😆 She does the same when she watches the Bahaa show.

Nowadays she is loving SNS and DABH. I tell her she won't have the opportunity to actually put those shrewd ideas of the MILs in action but she continues to watch them, relish them in fact and hates it when I interrupt her or if someone calls her during her favorite shows. 😆

Haan Nikhil guy is a wife beater. Heard he's a single dad too. This I heard in a public bus while commuting. 😆

Bhalobasha.com was quite a rage, ekhon kon state e I have no idea. I think the leads had deicided to quit. I saw the poster of the lead guy in one B grade Bengali movie.

Whatever Sanaya may be, but she never shies away from praising her co stars and she hasnt praised anyone as much as she praised Ashish.

Swati what I dont get is why these people get married in the first place? Not everyone is capable of monogamy. So just accept it and dont marry anyone. Just have affairs.

That way at least Salman has my respect. he knows he can never settle down and doesnt make an attempt to after the Ash episode.

Now apparently RK wants to marry Kat. What a perfect marriage. He will continue to cheat after marriage and she will be his perfect doormat trophy wife. And she gets to keep his Kapoor surname.

Kripa, maybe he didn't but one must not overlook the emotional trauma. It was the emotional trauma that actually led her to take her own life. I won't/ can't forgive a man for putting her through so much of pain and heartache. People take these things very lightly, falling in and out of love but not everyone takes them casually and when such a relationship fails, it causes a lot of emotional trauma. And this is a very difficult time. Suicidal thoughts do enter your mind no matter how strong and rational a person you had been. Its very depressing to say the least.

There is a lot of stigma attached to people seeking professional help. So we try to keep up a brave front and pretend we can deal with the situation.

@Swati: Maa is all about romance now. Jhilik is embroiled in a love triangle. BTW, have you seen her recently? She has gained a LOT of weight. Aloor bosta comment was so funny yet so true. 😆 Also we didn't have the calendar shoot. She's DHEBSHI.

That is true Onu. years ago my cousin was having issues with settling in at a Uni abroad and he didn't clear his papers 3 times in a row.he was undergoing a lot of emotional stress as he was a top performer at school. So my aunt took him to see a therapist and the way the people outside the family gossiped about it for day showed the general lack of awareness.

The other issue I have is how we brand anyone with psychological issues as being 'Mental.' Another cousin with an autistic daughter who lives in the US, refuses to visit India for the same reason.
