The telly actor has apparently not reached the sets since the last two days and has not even gotten in touch with his parents. His mother is said to have called his mobile many times but he's not even responding to her.
Unit sources of the show informed us that when they realised that Siddharth has not been reporting on the sets, they called his family. But to their surprise, Siddharth's mother informed them that she is also unaware of where he is and he has not even been taking her calls. We have been forced to cancel the shoot due to his absence."
When asked in spite of being worried, why the family hasn't lodged a missing person's complaint yet, we were told that the family is waiting till last night and will do it today, if he doesn't turn up."
Incidentally, his show currently has a track where his character cuts himself off from his family. If this is the channel's idea of publicity, then we must say it is a really bad one.
When we called Siddharth, his mobile was off.
