spicy and sometimes with curd..

We use it mixed vegetable dish...which has 5-6 types of veggies like spinach, potatoes, carrots, radish etc.

Or we simply cut thick slices of it & just shallow fry it with salt & haldi ... yummm
Or just steamed/boiled and mash it with mustard oil, salt & greenchilly ...and eat it with rice.

We even make pumpkin with kala chana or chickpeas.

Recently I learnt a spicy squash recipe (non bengali)...which also turned out great.

Was good ! Tried the old fashioned way !! No water and of course no food !!! But surprisingly no headache !!! Though our moon rise was supposed to be at 9.10 pm and no sign of moon till 9.45 ... Coz of fog !! THAT is normal here so did my pooja with my Chand ie hubby .. 😳 ... Not that he is takla ! 😆

How do you girls do it? No food is fine , but no water will be too difficult.
