No no . I worked last night . I was on call . So I had a day off. I have severe back pain so I stayed in bed and I was on line with my husband .

Only time I can talk to my husband is between 4 PM and 6 PM. I was on line with him and I saw you on line that's all.

Have you ever fasted? I don't know, it seems to be the Indian thing to do- even my cousins/friends here (who have grown up here and don't look/talk/behave like Indians in any other way) will keep karva chauth...its actually quite ridiculous if you ask me.

Me and fast! My mom knows better than to make me fast...it will never happen 🤣

I always tell my mom, there is enough suffering and misery one has to go thru without having any control over it...why would I ever choose to be miserable? (I think you'll agree with me here) 😆

Wow, that's pretty amazing that your mom didn't fast either. Yeah I think people must feel its romantic or something...in that case, its about time that the men start fasting too. And if fasting was meant to protect the husband, men would live longer than women...i think in most parts of the world, women outlive their husbands 🤣

TENS is Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation is the use of electric current produced by a device to stimulate the nerves for therapeutic purposes. I use this during dancing and it helps . I will explain its function when I can write .i can not take medicine and work .

My mother was very literate lady . She believed in GOD but not religion. She never believed these rituals , which had " husband and wife " wife praying For husband . She told us we both should be equal because god created us as equals . Men gave men higher position not GOD. otherwise we will never have laxmi or Durga . She told us to fight against these rituals . Which " put girls down " she was one philosopher to hear .
