Rabba Ve. Happy teej and Ganesh Chaturthi to whoever is celebrating. The kids absolutely loved celebrating ganapati bappa's birthday 😊

Savvy, any day would work for me for MOM. Though I would be posting late inthe night on 14th.

After a exhausing week, I travelled to Salt Lake city for work. 5 hour flight 🥱 I will miss the kids, husband and home tomorrow. But tonight it feels so peaceful to be myself in the hotel room, where i don't have to worry about anything

having a feeling of impending doom...does it happen to any of you as well or am i losing my marbles...it might be an after effect of watching today's epi of arjun where they showed a psycho abducting n raping n killing unsuspecting girls...even qubool hai had a huge lecture by zoya to rajveer as to how scums like him should be treated who think of any girl wearing jeans as "available"...cant sleep now...am really better off watching food network...

Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to all🤗
I love this time of the year, it used to be my fav festival while I was in India and absolutely loved rushing down to our building idol for the evening aarti and then hanging out with friends till mom would finally give me an ultimatum "come back home or stay down all night"😆😆
Here too some of my Indian friends celebrate it with much fanfare and enthusiasm so I totally love it!

May Lord Ganesha be with each one of us and guide us through our difficulties and ease all the obstacles in our path.

I was wondering if there is any North Indian equivalent to this festival...I don't remember there being any school holiday around this time of the year. We had Dushshehra, and then Diwali. Of course we would see all the pics in newspaper and TV of Ganpati visarjan from Bombay...but don't recall anything happening in Lucknow.
