Version 2.0, heard about the shock and awe yesterday - from slap gate to female infanticide. Add social messaging to the mix, the PH is known for handling this ..so where is the pyaar I asked J? She replied cowering in a corner reeling from Shlok's slap!!

The only reason most of us even bother reading the WU is because of the name association😡.. time to give ourselves a well deserved time out for our own sanity?

@bold:- That 1 minute scene was awesome. I am damn sure all the gang must have laughed their way out when they got Akshay in the sanyaas scene. And Manorama Mami was awesome in the car ride when she talks her feelings with Anjali. I think one reason IPK clicked and clicked big time was the creatives gave enough monologues to the characters and we could know what the character was feeling and why he/she is doing something - it got the show some theharav which the new shows are not at all having. So the fans never bothered about the props in the show because the content was truly a king here.⭐️

After I did lambi sans andar baher, you know what I realized? If not for the name, we wouldn't even have bothered with this serial. There are numerous such regressive serials going on currently on Indian TV, which we are fortunately/happily oblivious too. This would have been another addition to that.

From what I have read on CC, this is the same PH that came up with BV. May be they want to take up issues like regressive thinking and female infanticide. Good for them. I would have preferred if they had created a strong female character that stands up against the injustice. I still wouldn't have watched it, but if it came up in discussion, I would have applauded the effort.

But why portray it as a love story??? Watching the airhead FL falling for the brute of a ML, and even justifying his action is plain nauseating.

@bold:- Dipsy, I think the PH was aiming for that only. But at the last moment, the channel butted in and named it IPK. Somehow like Visiji said yesterday by naming this serial IPK, they completely besmirched the name of the show. This is nowhere compared to IPK be the theme or the love story. And Arnav was not this regressive and abusive in the whole show. And this is the opinion of my neighbor aunty also, she was saying why name the serial IPK when it is nowhere to the original. Well SP ki baatein SP hi jaane - there is nothing much we can do.
