I told you right Ash. Maghadheera was a hit because of the graphics and also for the first time Kajal aggarwal was made to look damn beautiful as a princess. Earlier all in Telugu movies it is the hero only who got all the attention. Only after this movie, the people agreed that if heroine is made good enough, they can draw crowds. That is one reason Kajal started acting pricy after Maghadheera and after Singham became a hit, just panned down South Indian Industry saying she never belonged here.

...masand is so right in his review fof zanjeer...you cant ramcharan to emote...apart from some dancing skills he neither has the looks nor an iota of talent!

Importantly STOP re-making classics..

Vigil Idiots review of Chennai express was on dot. I loved to read this review of Chennai express. I did watch the movie courtesy my kids who in turn learned everything about the movie and its story in their school. So yes because the kids were so laughing and enjoying, for once I didn't get bored in the theater. This is the only Hindi movie that I have watched in theater in the last 3 yrs and 'Eega'(Makhi) was the only Telugu movie that I watched in theater. Both movies because kids loved it, I could completely enjoy the movie leaving logic at home of course.

Regarding Sonam, the only film I think where she was okay or rather I liked the movie was 'I hate luv stories'. May be the general theme of the story or the sarcastic tone of the movie, no idea but I could watch that movie without cringing.

@Bold:- Exactly. Now Masoom is being remade/Khoobsurat is being remade(I didn't know it till now) and wondering at this rate which movie will be left untouched.

Mind boggles reading this article

http://www.india-forums.com/bollywood/talk-round-town/36752-pricey-stars-of-bollywood.htm

Aamir Khan charges - 40Crs for one movie/Shahrukh and Salman around 20 - 30 Cr. Isn't it like too much. No wonder the pre-production cost itself runs into 50+Crs for most of the movies.

Caught today's IPK re-run as I prepped dinner.

Forget Arnav and Khushi - if they ever make a sequel to IPK (the real sequel 😉) ...

I BHANTS MANORAMA MAMI. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Bas bol diya.

Episode 46 - Whattay a perfect episode⭐️

- How awesome was Mami's ferocity, biting the heads off those ladies, Mami isshtyle👏
- How vulnerable was Nani caught between a rock and a hard place, unable to defend her grandson and at the same time disturbed by the gossip mongers
- How shaken was Bua at the very thought that Khushi and Payal were returning back to Lucknow.

The three ladies were just awesome and ruled the episode. Somewhere in between all this Khushi and Arnav were deeply perturbed by the fact that they were moving away from one another and probably would never see each other again😉

Episode # 46:

The awesomeness continues... Such a smooth, well paced episode that carries the idea forward, and stops for the weekend break at just the right juncture. Lucknow beckons one, and looms for the other. Both are all at once fathoms deep, and utterly out of their depths. By the end of the episode all I wanted to do was give each a jadoo ki jhappi😊

And while these two are fighting it out, RM is playing host to zalim zamana in the form of two Teerath-returned aunties, the divine neighbourhood having done little to curb their catty tendencies. But bhy to fear, when MM is here? She decimates them with few choice barbs, but is unable to prevent Naniji's renewed misgivings.
Shyam continues to play his game in his usual calm, reasonable manner.

But the epi belonged to Arnav and Khushi... explosive passion, sizzling chemistry...these are such cliched expressions, but after watching these two, I am left scratching my head...aur kya words use karein in donon ke liye?

This is part of something I had written after this episode first aired in August 2011:

__________________________________________

Arnav Singh Raizada frightened her...and yet, strangely enough, made her feel alive...he had been beyond cruel to her...tortured and tormented her...then why did his eyes now beckon her so?

She had gone to the office to retrieve her Devi Mayya. Why were his eyes pinning her down, making it impossible for her to look away...she owed him nothing...she was not obliged to listen to anything he wanted to say...was she?..."You are afraid that he will accuse you of trying to ensnare him again...that is why you are not letting him speak...you know that will break your heart...whatever remains of it anyway..."-the little voice returned.

Why was he so angry?? His eyes were spitting fire...did she see hurt in them today? No, that could not be...he was just mad at her because she wouldn't let him speak...did he have to stand so close and yell ...and then go silent all of a sudden?...She couldn't breathe..She had to get out of there...

Why did she think of him all the time...she was done with him...once and for all...she had made the decision...she would go back to Lucknow...back into the loving arms of Babuji and Amma...forget she had even met him ever...forget this city, this man...this was the right decision to take...Buaji was sad, but Shyamji would support her...yes, she needed to be as far away as possible from him...everything would be alright once she reached Lucknow...everything would be back to as it ever was ...normal.

Why didn't he stop her when announced that she getting out of his life for ever and ever?? Why was she crying?...

👏⭐️👍🏼 ...total and complete satyavachan, Savs.

For the first time, Buaji shows her mellow, sentimental self. She was so reluctant to bring the girls with her to Delhi when Shashi-Garima had first suggested it, but in these two weeks she has realized what a joy it is to have them around her.

Sangha, How is your son doing? Is he fine now.

I think Barun in the movie has little longer hair - See his gelled hair picture. But got to give it to him - The look of Ron Sen is so different from ASR. Now you should tell us, does he look like a Bengali person/businessman ?
