i guess pay is decided by the PH which depends on their experience..number of years they have worked as an actor and channel and PH..also i remember reading somewhere some actors are paid on per day basis and some on per episode basis and some are fixed..

if we take this logic then a pilot works for lesser hours and are paid more..they have fixed working hours...a driver works almost 18 hours a day but do not earn much...

I remember the regulatory boards had fixed the number of working hours for actors but hardly it was followed...i feel no matter how much one is paid there is a limitation a human body can work...

Exactly...so if he had said..I am not able to take it...its fine...but u cant blame the industry for that no?

i actually did not mind him mentioning that.. later on many people voiced it out .. even the senior actor ronit roy i think... the working hours are really not nice no.. it really is kinda inhuman i feel

Piloting is a high risk job compared to acting. In fact piloting an aircraft is riskier than driving a truck because it involves the risk of other ppl's lives.
Coming to the limit human body can exert, 12 hrs if it is difficult for the actors then it is difficult for other professionals too who put in that much hour. So cribbing about the working hours is not right on any actor/actress's part since there are other ppl too who put in that much work without being paid that much.

Depends on what u call inhuman Nandu. The point here is other professionals too put in that much or even more hours at work but they don't crib.
