I hear you Sangha. No soap is holding my interest. Tried so hard to like CC but eventually gave up from this week. Usually used to watch the show at least in FF mode but didn't go for any episodes whole this week. The other shows I am still catching on a regular basis is Indian Idol Jr(one contestant is from my daughter's school so supporting her) and IPK reruns. The first few months of IPK were really classic. So very easy to go into SKD and enjoy the show.

Hello everyone🤗
TGIF, I've had a busy week and a super busy weekend ahead but hopefully can catch a breather this evening. Hubby and kids are out to i plan on chilling with a buddy with a bottle of wine and the magic of IPK😳.
I have gotten 2 of my Indian neighbors addicted and I'm loving it. Now there is IPK discussion in the real world as well🤣

The thrill of getting your friends addicted to the soap is entirely different, Isn't it meens. One of our office mates is a telugu person and doesn't know abcd of Hindi. So we literally pushed her to watch IPK in dubbed version and now she turned out to be a bigger phangirl of Barun than all of us. She keeps on pestering me as to tell what happens next? I tell her the show is now near end(It is now at after kidnapping phase and shyam thrown out) and it is better if she enjoys without expectation. Oh the way she eagerly runs off from office to catch the episode live is hilarious.

So the third son of the house Dhruv for the first few weeks was going to be a solid character...infact from the sense of what i get it would have been a stronger character than Arnav because Nani seems very passionate about him. So the entire plan that Sobti was to leave 8 months into the show was infact real and they dropped Dhruv's character off and keep an Arnav Khushi romance go on. Chalo it could have been worse than what it was 😛

Yes, I too feel that way - They had Dhruv on the drawing board for some time but then with 4Lions, they always have these kind of errors in their story. In their previous show, Geet, they had Maan searching for his brother in the beginning of the show some Vicky or somebody but they completely dropped the character and instead they got in a sister who has never been mentioned at all till the last moment.

With IPK, seems like they had much more juice in the past story but somehow they didn't know how to handle the revealing of the past and how to keep ArHi in the loop.

Why did you get that sense, Vee? Just curious. He was mentioned only once by Nani, in a conversation related to marriage, right? Or have I missed some other reference?

Yes, there was only ONE reference to him... and seems Maami( Utkarsha) gave an interview where she mentioned him. ... but he was lost thereafter!

The first couple of months are rough...the sleep deprivation can be deadly! But see if you can have her enjoy her own company...small intervals at a time. Maybe with the help of a favourite toy or two. And crying is good for them.
