How nice was Payal's character etched in these earlier episodes. Perfect calming influence for Khushi's sometimes zany ideas and at the same time protective about her in front of Buaji.

IPK reruns are just awesome; I'm totally hooked and almost as enthusiastic as the first time around😛.
IPK had such a wonderful ensemble cast with such well sketched characters; it is such a pity that they were reduced to mere puppets within a few months.
This show could really prove a case study on how the creators slowly but surly destroyed what they so wonderfully built.

Agree with you meens. They could have given a much dignified end to the project without going the big tamasha way. Even the kidnapping track was beautifully handled. It is only after Barun came back they didn't have any handle on the story - they had only truth out, past revelation and remarriage - it would have taken hardly 3 months to cover this. No idea why they got Dadi in and the stupid miscarriage track. Well Gul ki baatein Gul hi jaane.
