SLB has lost it. Karwa Chauth comes in India in November. Don't understand why SLB is twisting the story and putting in sequences that were not there in the movie at all. I don't see SC raking up inspite of all the pain of separation.

Yes this was the possible redemption track for Arnav in IPK. Wish we did have that track in IPK and it would have been so beautiful - but Gul wanted to close the show with sheetal track and death track. What can we say ?

I am surprised that Meri Bhabhi raked in 1.9 but more than that JA seems to have clocked 2. And BV is struggling at 2.5 or so. The 8'0 clock slot seems to be competitive once again.

Important life lessons I learned today after channel surfing

BALH - When you start any new activity for your young kids, tell them they have a win a compitition is six months, only then you will be happy. It's important to set the unrealistic espections right at the beginning

SC - making goo goo eye without being face to face is possible. Just have a sickeningly sweet textethon with your BF.

MB-New - It's very very important to try and control your daughter's life, especially after she gets married.

BV-It doesn't matter whether the guy loves you. If you think you love him, he has to marry you.

EHMBH - Without wearing the chef hat, husband cannot enter the kitchen. Bas bol diya. (Hard to describe the make up tips I picked up from the 2 behenas, that requires a separate post)

MB-OLD -I couldn't watch it long enough to learn something. I tried... I really did.

DABH - If you want rain, just believe that it is going to rain. God will oblige.

CC - Life lesson for the Modern Bahu... Safty pins have been invented so that saree/pallu can stay put, whichever way you want.

Sony is opting out of the TAM subscription data service because it thinks the TAM ratings are flawed and so is Star network and Colors. That is the reason there is talk of having the industry's own way of measuring the reach of the serials and the viewership and that is coming in last quarter of this year. That would give a much better picture of what is working for audience and what is not and till that is in place you do have TRPs for the serials as advertisers pay for the spots based on the popularity. A spot on SP at the time slot off DABH would cost more than a spot on say Behna.
