Third attempt to CC after Anuj ... Manav and directorji seem to be firmly stuck at CC's belly and its chain.

Meens, thanks for posting the link. I have to admit, I still cannot wrap my head around the concept of episodes airing in English 😊

Sri, if the head honchos at SP are any intelligent, they would air the serial in hindi with added subtitles to the episode. Half of the serial's charm is due to the dialogues and husky voice of Barun - dubbing would deprive the serial of the most important thing in the serial. But when are the SP head honchos ever had any brain?

Psy what I meant was for me it is hard to grab the concept of English dubbing. It was not only Barun but the entire cast who had their own unique delivery starting right from Buaji's "Hai re NK", "Sankadevi".. to the "DM" word that tumbles out Khushi's mouth every second or third line.

Having said that, I have read so many comments where non-hindi users ask about IPK in ismailvegamze's
YT clips, so it may not be a bad move after all. Looks like they essentially diverted the investment of making DVD's to doing the voice overs for a fraction of the cost.😛

Sri:- I watch the telugu dubbed version of IPK that comes on Maa. I can tell you half the charm of the show is lost even when they have very nearly replicated the dialogues and the mannerisms of Buaji/NK/Khushi. I have no idea how they are going to translate the Hai re Nandkishore/Titaliya/Nannav mera bhai in English. Rather they can air the show as is and have the subtitles run in the episode. I know that Zee airs the programs in US like that with subtitles in the episode. Me too agree that SP diverted the investment of making DVD's for this voice overs. And SP is clever - there is no word of the serial being aired in India. Makes sense - they will lose revenue if they air IPK in India as most probably their viewership may go to IPK and not to their new clan of shows. So they are airing the show on Life Ok and making revenue on the new channel.

I can't digest the English version too... but isn't the English version for the US/UK audience only?

Arnav, Khushi, Mamaji, Buaji, NK each of them have a very distinct identity in IPK and their voice, pronunciations and words were an integral part of their character.
Imagine "ramanchi" when dubbed😕.

Is there any confirmation of it airing in India as well; i think there is some confusion on that but I did read somewhere that it is going to air in the middle east so I'm assuming it is more than just the US-UK circuit.
