Bengali movies.

I watch old Bengali movies, mostly from 50s-80s. But in recent times, along with few new names, Rituparno Ghosh and Aparna Sen are my favorite movie makers. His earlier movies are my favorites. His best works are actually a lot lot better than Titli, which is also pretty great. Him passing away is a great loss for India cinema.

Neeta lulla scene was utter waste..
Loved the rk-bittuji scene..
LOVED rk-madhu scenes... They were really really good.. I love how comfortable rk-m were and also VD-dd.. Loved how actually genuinely disappointed madhu was that he fell asleep 😆
Also the way she said she had thought he would give her some gift or something but he just wanted to show akad bcos he won bet.. I love their comfort level..
Rk's dress was hideous.. I m praying that this is not the wedding dress.. They can't be blind. Thus dress doesn't go well with madhu's dress at al..

How dare that manhoos kalank enter rk's bedroom.. Disgusting

Amritha Ana the kind of rk-m scenes that we saw today? I will take those scenes anyday over useless intimate scenes of other characters on tv these days..

for the first time i ventured into SC forum to see if they showed some scene ...but the posts over there were hilarious 😆 one of them said that they were full tayyar to watch the consummation but they didn't show anything...after the IPKKND experience, they were cautious to not watch it with their family and made full arrangement to watch it alone or with some bahana but they were so disappointed 🤣 aisa na ho , hum bhi yahi bol rahe ho kal 😆😆

Although I have not watched much of Bengali movies, I love hearing the language..I dont know

why!! It is somehow pleasing to hear people speak Bengali.

How come you are not saying anything about the episode, esp the precap? Kuch toh bolo...

Why was she crying? 😕 Were they drunk or something? 😕

Don't try to compare IPKKND consummation with anything. I saw a bit of it on TV and then with my mom coming to watch I quickly shifted over to BV as I didn't feel like watching it with her there. Then later that night I saw it online. 😆

No Mridu, they were not drunk, but the next day she is crying buckets out of guilt and asks Saras to stay away from her! Really such torture in the name of love! That show is gone down the drain I assure u!!

Krithika I too love hearing Bengali language ESP the songs as I have mentioned once before.. I love the Bengali songs..
And so many song tunes in Hindi are lifted from there.. Many years ago when there was only dd I was watching one Bengali movie on dd.. Remember they would play Sunday afternoon regional award winning movies? This one had rakhee in it.. And suddenly a song starts playing with same tune of a 1942 love story song.. I think the Hindi dong was rooth na jaana
