Actor Ranbir Kapoor says he is so besotted with actress Madhuri Dixit that he cajoled his director Ayan Mukerji to let him kiss her on cheeks while she was shooting an item number with him for upcoming film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
Madhuri recently shot for an item song with Ranbir in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, slated for May 31 release.
"She (Madhuri) was my first love and my heart broke when she got married. I was happy when I got the opportunity to dance with her and see her," Ranbir said at a promotional event of the film.
In a candid confession, the actor said he had to "bribe" Ayan Mukerji in his own way to let him kiss the actress on her cheeks.
The item song Ghagra is choreographed by Farah Khan.
Heaping praises on the dhak dhak girl, Ranbir said, "She is sincere, passionate and talented. It was great working with her. She is wonderful."

Reportedly asked by the currently being filmed Chennai Express co-star Shah Rukh Khan to stay behind to complete shooting, Deepika was said to be reluctant to pull-out but was obliged to make good on her other ommitments.
The conjecture, however, was unfounded and both Ranbir and Deepika will be in town on Thursday, according to tour organiser Rashid Saeed, Managing Director Essar Events. Not only will the pair make various appearances around the city, but they will also be accompanied by fellow actors Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur.
"This is the first time Ranbir and Deepika will be in Dubai together and the first time they have been seen in a movie since their breakup," Rashid told City Times. "We are very excited to meet them and it's also a great chance to see Aditya, who has gained a lot of credit recently, along with Kalki."
Thursday's programme will include a trip to Oasis Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road at 7pm, followed by a meal at It's Indi restaurant in Jumeirah at 9pm. For further information on how to get up close and personal with the stars, call 050 346 6151 or 050 102 0876.
Now this is one little known fact which came across as a pleasant surprise. In the times when a single screening of an Indian film in a foreign land makes big news, Saif Ali Khan has managed something far more upbeat for a film of his. Cocktail, his biggest solo success till date that had released last year, has now managed to explore a Russian market for itself. In fact the film has been playing there for close to 50 days now and raking in good moolah.
