I've been hearing good things about Bombay Talkes- especially of Nawazzudin! I'll catch it soon.

Edit: btw, this whole award thing- I would have been surprised if SI had won. Not because she doesn't deserve it- she does - but because ipk is already over. That's why Abhaas nor Utkarsha won anything. And I don't know how they are justifying Sandhya from Lamp & Wick winning a Popular award 😕. Nonetheless, it would have been nice to see SI get the award.

Glass half full, half empty. Perspective. Sanaya was nominated because 4 Lions put her in for Best Actress, given she probably had more potential than the actress who portrays Zoya. On the other hand, where Barun was an obvious choice, KSG also has a massive fan following and he (believe it or not) is Qabool Hai's face, hence 4 Lions nominated him instead of Barun.

Sakshi will win because she IS a good actress. Hands down. Not because Sony is making her win. Sanaya has a huge fan following, but the main awards always go to a female lead who somewhat is integrated into a "dramatic" role so to say, therefore her chances will diminish in front of dramatic "actresses" like from other saas-bahu shows. Male actors on the other hand win because of performance, I don't see why any of the men who won today DID NOT deserve to win and why Barun DID NOT deserve to win last year.

For both of you ladies...there was photo shoot of him for some magazine and was posted in FB...if i find it i'll share it for you...i like him a lot in those photos he had so good subtle expressions in all...

By the way ...will i get jhurmana if i post it after finding it?? have to think about KBF now

I kinda expected it about the ITA...its only us a few who still in love with KKG...when ever SI comes on screen they want to see her so but now since the show is over the chances are too slim for her...and if SP has a hand on it then they will en cash on their ideal bahu only right!!!...if gopi gets in prev years then it has to be sandhya now

Sad but true..THat Sandhya can't act at all...But nor could Gopi!...it never seems to be about acting...more about the behind the scenes machinations...

One cautionary note on Bombay Talkies... the first story is very adult... so watch out if you are taking kids.

That's what I too read in the reviews. So will not be going to this movie then. Maybe will catch up if it airs on TV. Thanks Ash for the heads-up.
