Don't know about Kis Desh but I did watch here and there of Tere Liye till it became unbearable ... I liked of what I saw ... Both were good. Wonder where the girl from Tere Liye is ?

This is highly possible!

But HH is not the reason for the show not doing good. The script as well as acting of SI is not upto the mark then why blame that poor guy. Yes I almost feel sorry for him. He was so cocky some time back and look at Karma uncle's leela he is just requesting that give me time, I am just a 25 day old baby. blah blah.. But who is comparing him with Barun? This is too much. We cannot compare him even with Barun of Shraddha.
