Hi Everyone,

Posted here after a long long time... I was watching Salman Khan's Coffee With Karan Interview and this portion I felt interesting where he says he likes his old self , the drinking, smoking,,pratying guy and now he tries to keep it in side him and potrays a different persona and is constantly worries his old self coming out.

He says he likes his old self but willingly keep it supressed because it upsets his family...and feels his current self is very boring

Somehow it remined me of Rks recent scenes with diary 😆 who looks like portaying a pleasent self now and tried to keep his inselcured self inside him and now it may be coming out again. it was also covered earlier during phsyco phase but may be time to see it again

Salman speaks about it right at the begining of the video.

Thanks Kashish...sad world BW is..here are a few points, I'd randomly put down..on similar lines.

Disclaimer: I am ignoring all the clunk of the past few months in MBEIEJ. Nor am I justifying anything they are showing, because I hate it!!

When Do Dil was launched, ST had given an interview. THe focus in IF was on him calling DD and VD newcomers when he signed them on😆. That was his arrogance. But here, he mentions about Madhubala's focus. Initially the story was about Madhubala's transition to a heroine, and now he says what is quoted below...that it is the story of a star. RS also has said that it is a window to the film industry through a superstar's eyes.

STs' quote: "Madhubala's story is that of a film star who balances his personal and professional life. While in Jaan, the issue is of Kashmiri Pundits and that of migrants in big cities. Both the shows do not have any similarity, it's just that mode narration is the same," he answers.

So I'm thinking..they are creating a mish mash from the lives of various superstars:

Salman Khan - RK's life before meeting Madhubala...even after his 4 phera marriage, his craziness, drunkenness.

SRK - His total dependence on his wife, who is supposed to be down to earth and grounded. He has mentioned very often, he is a difficult person to live with, and only Gouri can put up with him.

Aamir Khan - His massive ego...he is supposed to a huge ego maniac. Recently he celebrated his son's birthday and he was dressed up in his Dhoom 3 get up. I mean...why?? For a baby's birthday??

Baap of all superstars: Amitabh Bachchan...now we are following his life trajectory, is what I feel. Jaya stopped working after marriage because people used to indicate that she overshadowed him very easily. And she made a decision to step back..she was a much bigger star than him when he started out. All was ok till the whole Rekha episode happened. And Jaya made a comeback of sorts opp AB in Silsila, almost enacting their real life triangle. It was her determination and steady support because of which finally the affair supposedly died a natural death.(though some people still say that AB visits Rekha regularly).

As i said, I am ignoring all the clunks. Though I know all of them!! The team still has a great concept but they are not articulate about it...and rushing through tracks like there's no tomorrow.

Does'nt mean I am welcoming the new entry. I keep trying to justify the serial and therefore the above came up. It is RK's story...superstar's story. As usual, they are mixing up episodes from different stars lives,creating a khichdi. And they do not know how to handle it, simple
