QH: what did Gul do😲She got Ayaan married to Zoya🤢 and that too what sort of a crappy marriage it is, they both are hiding from the goons and enter a place where community marriage is taking place and then they say haan when the qazi asks.. The haan was told over the phone when they were respectively talking to some other person on the phone which the qazi accepts as qubool hai🥱 And these duffers didin't even realize that they got married and now it is being forced by all the clerics who were present at the nikah..

I know that the story was initially supposed to be a triangle but I thought that was scrapped long back.. Now after 200-250 episodes, she comes back to it Despite the lameness in plot, the execution was quite good😆

Zoya I was totally hooked to QH before this twist but I quit the moment I saw that promo..WTH was tht 😃 I feel sad for the fans of QH..and Gul is known for such lame twists...thankfully the TRPs are dipping right now...but yes, no matter how idiotic the proceedings are, they manage to make it watchable...that's bec. there r so many characters in the show ..i like Imran's mom so much, she's so funny , i start laughing the moment she comes on screen..Ayan called her "gin" ek baar n whenever she laughs, i'm reminded of tht dialogue 🤣 the cute fights b/w Asad and Zoya were awesome, but then they spoiled it..Asad ki shadi is jinxed, totally ! i think this was the 5 th time he became a dulha and didn't get his dulhan?

coming to think of it, MB managed to have decent ratings , inspite of no supporting characters, no twists (except the unwedding), no accidents, no memory loss, no birthdays, anniversaries, festivals, but the latest saas bahu drama is totally a super hit ! look at yeh rishta..they can make an episode on "nashta kya banayein? lunch kya banayein? dinner kya banayein"? then some b'day or anniversary come and they get a reason to get decked up..then some festival comes and they again get a reason to get decked up..then some tragedy happens and the cycle continues !😃

Shri, you can seriously consider MB now , it's much better than what it used to be..it's entertaining, it's romantic, it's logical, and they have added some nice characters ..give it a chance plz 😳

Waise not only is Asad's marriage jinxed, Zoya always runs away just before the marriage or says qubool nahi hai only😆

And I heard that Najma-Imran are going to get married... Then for what joy did they make Zoya leave her own marraige to become Ms.Bond and find out Imran-tanveer's truth🥱

Yes, there are so many characters in the show and each one is well written.. now I am interested ki what Razia will do about this marriage.. bohut time se they have kept her quiet.. ek toh humeira's happiness and another thing she must be worried about Zoya -Gaffur r'ship revelation... she will surely do sth now..

Harry and Charles 🤣 Seriously, SNS, I never thought there would be a phase where the vamps would be running for their lives in such a manner 😆. It was a welcome surprise.

And thanks for Bhabhi update. Now I feel like watching the episode for the events you described. The interplay of the characters (all of them) is very good there. Everyone makes an effort to look and be happy while remaining tensed about so many things bad in their own life...Shraddha, Kittu, Kittu's husband or the parents...as step mother, Supriya has a got a good role... And Shraddha is not that wise and good natured as Kittu any given day, but she becomes so human in her flaws and her present state of diffidence and cover-up, trying to be strong for her herself. And when she becomes selfish or tough against Kittu or her mother, its quite comprehensible to me.

You reminded me of what slipped from my mind. Ek Boond Ishq ke liye...whatever. Saw the promos in India and wanted to see it when it starts. I think I will take a look at it, these days.

Agree that the initial promo painting of Madhu's face in the clouds is really good. I always maintain that Art Direction of MEIEJ team is certainly imaginative. That's one thing why without even knowing one's attention gets a hold no matter how stupid or clunky the story looks. But that's about it. I think MEIEJ story visuals are most beautifully captured by the VM makers.

Did you watch all VMs made my Charu ? I have to go and watch the latest one created by Charu. Charu just captures what came out best as Take Home for her. I think ART of watching Teleserials, is not be enslaved by negativity, but be inspired by the creativity of the team when it does good in any soap, not just limiting to one soap, and also be rejuvenated by emotional empathy when it is stirred within us. When it gets negative, we can stop watching it for sometime. And as Zoya says, one should resist going to threads and posts that add turmoil and negativity to our mind rather than being a gaining or relaxing effort for us. On the other hand, such threads and posts are purely a dumping ground for excited viewers. So it boils down to us to control whether we want to get excited or want relaxation.

Okay. For you. One of these days, I might try to go and watch it...at least to see this MC. I am really getting curious 😆. Anyways, these days I am successful at attaining a Soap-agnostic mind and remain the as usual TV friendly person. Coming week, even on the US TV, CBS2 is starting with all new seasons. So my evening relaxation to lull myself into sleep is now fixed. 😊

As for my India experience...I am yet to upload pics. So yes, what I can do it show you the experience as seen from a foreign mind. Yes, I am talking from my husband's perspective. This was his second visit to India and he once again enjoyed it ...ofcourse feeling quite uncomfortable and yet enjoying it with us. So that way, I will see what stories I can share...Lemme check. 😆 May be it will be fun to me and you all as well. 😆

I haven't seen IPK 1 in entirety to speak much about it. I found out about it while watching MEIEJ in October and caught up by watching Arshi scenes on YT. When I got to the point of watching the episodes, I felt they lost the grip on their storyline and it went haywire.

In IPK 2, I am wondering about the story behind Anjali's behavior. Her insistence on following the excessive rules she has imposed to the point of distancing her own kids is so weird. Dad seems to be aware of the discord but does nothing! Anjali's excessive indulgence toward her SIL is odd too.

@bold - I am not watching QH from a long time now but read an IF article that when the new Ayaan was brought on, they wanted to be sure and get someone who, if need be, could play a part in the triangle.

Question - is it safe to discuss other shows in this thread / forum?

Shri, take your time, no rush...just whenever it is convenient. I am sure it will be fun and yet another perspective.

Wrt Ek Boond Ishq, I have started to like it. Here is an article I saw today as I was logging on to IF. You could read it at your leisure and decide if you want to watch it.

My knowledge of Indian shows is very limited but Tara is way different than the bahus of typical show. Kalavati or Tauji as a eunuch / cross dresser also makes for a very different villain. The leads were married in a jail and have not even looked at each other...quite a change from the other shows.

Charu, I like Pramad too even though he is sooo negative. At least the actor acts well. I am waiting to see Guman's reaction when she finds out about her son, Danny and Kumari...😆. Wouldn't that be a sight? Theirs should be a love story with some light hearted moments and something I am looking forward to. I find Mrs "Babiejaan" to be the only ok factor about the show. The rest of the cast acts well. Feel like Rji in MEIEJ should take some lessons from her real life husband's role in SC...😆. But then again, Rji appears so much better compared to Pramad's mother!!!
