Re EH is not like regular heroes but is very smart while choosing right script..his movies generally hv nice story n good music..initially i used to feel that he is lucky but later realized that he is actually smart!!!

In my nostalgic mood, I went back to see scenes from MEIEJ's first episodes, and I came across the tow first montages, they were artistically well done

In the first picture we can see some symbolisim that the story is always between Madhu-Rk, I guess if the show is about Madhu, then she is the ishq and the junoon of Rk before being the ishq and the junoon of fans.

You know this montage was being shown even before Madhubala grows up, in the very first episodes, what caught my attention is the way it was done, clouds, rays of sun and our couple's trademark pose, at the left side we can even see a big chandelier. Everything seems to depict glory, stardom ka jalwa but in a positive way for both the leads.

The second picture is also very nice, again the spot light on Rk-Madhu with their trademark pose and Rk behind Madhu.

I prefer this second montage than the one shown right now with both Madhu-Rk wearing blue.

Well If you have some thoughts about the symbolism of this tow pictures, do share your thoughts😊, I saw that many members right here have some really deep thinking process and some unique vision of things, that always gets me hooked, I really like reading your thoughts.

Even before she meets Rk Madhu had a dream about him, was it only because Trishna kept talking about Rk all the time or does that dream has another symbolism especially when he let her fall at the end of the dance!!!

@Charu, am watching Saraswatichandra too. I keep walking away from it and somehow still end up watching it. I guess what I like about the show most is that it is one of the best produced, directed etc. shows. You are right though that the story is very sad and the story line moves at a snail's pace. There is no quick movement and infact characters stick to their pattern for a very long time (too long for my liking infact)

I managed to view 2-3 episodes of CNWK during JDJ season but was unable to view it due to lack of time. I liked it immensely and am planning to watch it now (unless of course "24" ends up taking precendence...😆).

It's weird Anita..the story is depressing , and we know the future story ain't gonna be any better, there are very few moments where u cud laugh or cheer..just watch it with a straight face..yet i feel like watching it sometimes bec. it's a serious concept and the narration is good..the interplay b/w the characters is good...I really liked that part where Saras asked Kumud why is she tolerating Pramad's torture and not retaliating...I liked Kumud's explanation...I liked Saras's stand on the whole issue...I like how they never showed Kumud as mahaan or sacrificing or like a doormat after marriage...I like Pramad also..and yes, Mrs "Babiejaan" bhi, whenever she makes an appearance, she's also okay...I guess the next track will be that Saras marries Kusum & his brother will marry Dugba's daughter? n they will manage to make it like a daily soap 😃

yeah, Meenu, Puja (Puja bhi?), Ananya, Amritha, everyone is liking IPK..I have caught on a few scenes & Avinash, although a very good actor, reminds me of Sultan 🤢 the single expression on his face and his beard is a put off 😔 not everyone can carry this role ...the girl is beautiful...and the story is very similar to Geet/IPK1/Qubool hai so it's not intriguing me as of now..the timings r so odd tht i can't catch up with it..

SNS - Saathiya. Its fun these days with Radha and Madhu Ben pestering and upsetting Raashi and her mother. 😆😆 God! the way Radha pulls Ahem's hair was hilarious. 🤣 And so Rashi's scheme gets back-fired on her.

Yes, Kittu , Shradha's family and Shradha also know that the guy is Kittu's brother..last time I saw, his mom got his marriage fixed with some girl and he , in an attempt to help Shradha created more problems for her..bec. her divorce case is going on and Bobby said this in the court that Shradha is friendly with some other guy (Kittu's brother)...today I was watching, they showed that Bobby is trying to influence his son against Shradha , he thinks Shradha doesn't want him to meet his father etc. etc. , Kittu calls Bobby home (or he comes on his own i dunno), and Bobby tells her that he will never divorce Shradha, he will keep troubling her ...Kittu tells her family that they should opt for out of court settlement with Bobby (bec. Bobby is demanding money) which irks Shradha...Kittu thinks that Shradha cannot start a new life till the time this problem is solved...Shradha was rude to Kittu n asked her not to interfere in her life, not become her mother..Kittu was hurt & his bro. was watching...of late, Kittu was giving too much attention to Shradha and Shradha was not liking this..

OMg Saathiya 😃 nowdays i avoid it coz I don't wanna contribute to the TRPs 🤣 but yes, they keep doing something interesting..Gopi's sister, when she came to know that Rashi was fooling her, she started plotting against her & created misunderstandings b/w her and Jigar...and there, Rashi's mom is terrorized by Gopi's mom...full on entertainment..except Gopi and Ahemji I like all the characters..Did u see that part where Rashi wants to name her children n she thinks of "Harry and Charles" 🤣

Another movie I recall seeing long time ago is Jab We Met and liking Aditya Kashyap's character a lot compared to Geet. Many years later, I saw an interview of Shahid Kapoor, who said that JWM was a heroine centric movie but he put in an effort such that his character would stand out apart from the heroine. If I hadn't seen that interview, I would have never guessed that JWM was a heroine centric movie!

Akshay Kumar was going through a rough patch in his career pre-Namstey London.

he did Namastey Londin which was heroine centric revolving around a brit-Indian which turned out to be a block-buster. That movie was a come-back of sorts for Akshay. Following Namastey London,during a span of 6 months, 4 movies of his released and all were block-busters. I read that he was the highest income tax payer of the year as well for that year😃

can't help adding this

Moral of the story: dene wala jab bhi deta, deta chappar phaad ke😆

Charu, re. IPK, me too feel the same.. It is understandably heavily inspired from IPK1 which isn't very refreshing. I agree with you about Avinash's beard as well but the point is, without the beard, he wouldn't look the brooding sadu types.. His character, Shlok doesn't click with me at all.. and it is not bcoz he is a MCP... There is some zing missing in his character.

Re. QH: what did Gul do😲She got Ayaan married to Zoya🤢 and that too what sort of a crappy marriage it is, they both are hiding from the goons and enter a place where community marriage is taking place and then they say haan when the qazi asks.. The haan was told over the phone when they were respectively talking to some other person on the phone which the qazi accepts as qubool hai🥱 And these duffers didin't even realize that they got married and now it is being forced by all the clerics who were present at the nikah..

I know that the story was initially supposed to be a triangle but I thought that was scrapped long back.. Now after 200-250 episodes, she comes back to it Despite the lameness in plot, the execution was quite good😆

Is Yeh jawani hai deewani a hero centric or heroine centric movie? Is Aashiqui 2 hero or heroine centric..honestly I was irritated with these discussions , specially when they didn't give a hint of the future story..and now acc. to the latest spoiler, MC narrates the script and RK loves it 😃

😆 Charu the MAT is mostly full of negativity and sometimes when it flows into EDT as well... I took a break from MAT.. Don't let the negativity get to you and enjoy...
