The part which is overshadowing the unalloyed anticipation factor of this track is simply the phrase 'heroine-oriented story'.
We took it for granted that Madhu *would* be the heroine of the movie and she would definitely become a star. RK making her a star - it's the whole point.
But the clunk was not needed. Madhu would become a star even without the story being heroine-oriented.
But RK's *reason' for making the movie and tolerating Mehul Chopra's blackmail was because he told Amar Behl, Kukku et al that he could make a movie showcasing himself, and it would be a hit with none of those producers needed.
RK is not trying to become a producer or prove his talent as a actor.
He's trying to prove that a RK-centric film can be superhit even without any other producer - basically RK as the star *and* the producer. The film wouldn't need any other producer or star. That's what his challenge was.
If the movie is heroine-oriented, it's as good as cancelling the reason for making the movie.
A heroine-oriented story means that even if it becomes hit, those producers can tell RK that he didn't risk money on a film starring himself.
Mehul Chopra is depending on RK's money, and yet dictating terms and conditions?
They are *both* unwanted in the industry.
But RK has the money without which there can't be a film.
Showing him accepting the blackmail makes this track look like the previous one where sherni Madhu and clever RK were shown scared and unknowing just to get clunk through.
And worse is that at this point it's not Madhu who was suggested as the heroine.
RK just agreed to let some unknown actress become the centre of a movie that he'll be financing?
Even if this film becomes a hit, he has already lost his challenge and wasted his money by agreeing to a story that is useless for his intent.

Agree leela.. The lack of logic is what is disgusting me..
But the cvs will not address these issues at all because they want the heroine centric film just because madhu will be heroine in future.. So rk is turned into an utter fool and agrees to this.. He is holding auditions for heroine.. Established actresses don't give auditions.. So a newcomer will play the lead and rk wil be side character.. I don't know what they r trying to accomplish by this MC-RK dynamic.. Why is rk taking the humiliation lying down... And the pre-production work is looking so Dan ridiculous
There r no script reading sessions between producer and director.. Producer will not hear the script and approve it and decide if he us going to put his money on the movie or not??
Here the director will just announce I'd making a heroine oriented movie so shut the hell up...
Fine thus is madhu's heroine track.. But weave it logically and and smoothly with the movie track.. Where rk making the movie and madhu becoming heroine go hand in hand.. Instead of it looking like finding a heroine is the life and death question of this movie and every clunk aiding madhu becoming heroine..
With mehul completely dictating the movie and rk just being a puppet what kind of victory is rk going to get here.. Even if the film gets made it's not his victory.. Will this prove AB and his other detractors wrong? No instead they can rejoice over what a massive fool he us making out if himself.. Getting humiliated and bullied by mehul left right and his wife joining mehul in that.. Constantly puttinghim down reminding him of his failure conveniently forgetting her own responsibility in his current situation..

Is this a train wreck waiting to happen? (Or maybe not.) Maybe it's just some clunk, all to show that in the end, RM will prevail...

Just came to say Hi to everyone.

I had gone to India for one month. I am back now. The whole of last week spent in getting busy with with home and office affairs. Kinda still in Indian timezone. I get up early and go to bed early. Now I am feeling quiet sleepy. :))

Nothing interests me these days, plus I am loaded with work, so my reduced or almost NIL time to forum. I made a point to myself that I will tell everyone today that I am fine and I am back.

MEIEJ is strictly a NO NO for me. Its self-banned show on personal grounds.

Uttaran - in a swell swoop, they made a reverse comeback for Second generation Uttaran. How ugly it was looking. My goodness!! it was becoming a good story, but as soon as Uttaran theme made its grand appearance, all the interest is "choomantar" now for me.

@leela n minu till sunday i was also very upset vd this heroine centric movie...but nw i dont think heroine centric here necessarily implies to a Fiza or Zubeida or Mrityudand... c here MC's character is inspired from subhash ghai as Madhu said he makes an appearance in his every movie..remember subhash ghai's Pardes it was abt a girl who is engaged to NRI debut movie for both Mahima Chowdhary n Apoorva Agnihotri..it was a heroine centric subject but had SRK as main lead n in no way SRK got side tracked by new comer Mahima..it was a nice movie n only movie of Mahima Chowdhary in which she looked pretty..but it was SRK movie throughout!!!


here MC saying movie will be heroine centric does not necessarily mean RK will play second fiddle to heroine but just means that heroine will also get to play an important role unlike RK's other movies where heroine is just for romancing hero n dancing around the trees!!!
