Tonight on Color's Balika Vadhu, Anandi is on a mission! As both Anandi and Shiv's families are in a celebratory mood regarding Anandi's mehendi ceremony before the wedding, Anandi wants all the women of Jaitsar to be a part of the happy occasion.

But the people Anandi wants to include in her ceremony are usually the ones banished from societal functions. Tonight, both Shiv ( Siddharth Shukla) and Anandi ( Pratyusha Banerjee) will be seen convicting the widows of Jaitsar to apply mehendi on their hands. According to Hindu tradition, a widow is banned from such simple joys in life, post the death of her husband.

When dadisa (Surekha Sikri) hears this, she is shocked! She challenges Anandi that not a single widow will succumb to her wish. But Anandi being Anandi is on a mission to change the thinking pattern of the elders and bring about a social change in Jaitsar. Says Pratyusha aka Anandi, "Yes, I will be convincing the widows to apply mehendi and I will be successful in my mission".

With her task accomplished, what's next on Anandi's platter?

Vocal support for Anandi

Cast of Balika Vadhu sings a special song for the sangeet ceremony of the lead characters in the show

To make the muchawaited on-screen wedding of lead characters Anandi (Pratyusha Banerji) and Shiv (Siddharth Shukla) extra special, the makers of Balika Vadhu have roped in the cast to record a special song.

Smita Bansal and Surekha Sikri

Actors Surekha Sikri, Anoop Soni and Smita Bansal will be seen singing the emotional number, titled 'Chali udd udd' in the episode, which will air on November 29. The song is composed by Lalit Sen, while the Marwadi lyrics have been penned by Raghuveer Shekhawat. It deals with the family's ever-evolving relationship with Anandi.

Smita claims, "I am not even a bathroom singer. I was restless and nervous before the recording. The song captures the emotions of a wedding very well." Anoop adds, "Music is the language of the heart and there couldn't have been a better way to portray a father's feelings when his daughter is getting married."
