I am not tooting my own horn here, but as I don't get a chance to visit here, my intent is highlight my views for anyone who cares to read my diatribes.

But this is all leading up to my next posts.

I was initially extremely disgusted at the instant, insane drooling at Sumer and people unthinkingly buying what the CVs were trying to sell.

But upon reflection I had a light bulb moment today that both Rishi and Sumer are different "sells" to different kinds of people...that I should not get overly upset at the hypocrisy of all.

To highlight the differences I wrote the following three posts that I am posting here. Maybe it can spark some good discussions, or it is just my meaningless brain fart😉

It is very illuminating how the context within which Sumer and Rishi entered SN defines

how they react to the inhabitants of the place and
how we as viewers respond to them

Sumer - Hitler Dada or Hitler Saand

His psychology :

He is the dominant alpha male. Will not take shit from anyone.
Is here to solve the police case.
Carries the arrogance and the power that goes with the badge
His behavior :

In your face.

Holds every inhabitant of the house with contempt. Is not shy about letting them know.
Blunt.
His contemptuous put down of Maina and Sunaina at the same time was telling. He has just spent less than 12 hours in the house and already he is confident enough to show openly his disdain of Sunaina's eating habits and her mum's stealing.
Same with Munna. Instantly lock horns with him and show him down. He knows Munna is a weakling. But is delighting in instantly letting Munna know that he has nothing but utter contempt for him
His physique :

Excellent, given the demands of his job as well as personal desires

Our reaction:

Delight.

Finally someone is putting the disgusting Sharmas in their place

A dominant male throwing is weight around. No pussy footing. No subtleties, no using emotional intelligence etc.
Hormonal gears

A man with washboard stomach, pretty face. Looks good naked or in small clothes.
"Flood danger" needed because of extreme amount of drooling
Does not ask us to exercise our brain too much

Doesn't ask us to think. What more can we ask

Rishi - Previously Hero. Now a broken record stuck at "MMji...MMji..."

His psychology :

Driven by guilt and need for atonement
Previously spoilt brat, immature but on a fast maturity curve
His own Ego has no place in his plans for atonement
High quotient for People Intelligence as well as Street smartness
Honorable
Comes from abusive, neglected childhood. Desperate need for love and home and some semblance of family
His behavior :

Insinuating himself into good graces of the family members
Make no enemies, befriends everyone
Tolerant of human foibles

His indulgence of sunaina's love for food, Kutumb's arthritic pain etc

Makes mistakes as he gets the lay of the land - the family dynamics, Indira etc

Street smart, knows how to exploit his connections and money to get Indira and Sharmas out of the graves they dig for themselves

Patience. Waiting for the right moment to strike
King of just-in-time subtle putdowns

Example - How he unravelled Inder and Jhumpa's plans to throw everyone out of SN during the first registry debacle. He impersonated Inder when calling Jhumpa and let her think their plans succeeded. He let the drama unfold naturally. Let Kutumb see the naked face of greed
Same with Indira's arrest. Instead of jumping the gun, he used his brain to unveil the real thief and remove the stain on Indira's honor. Did not bluntly expose Sharmas but let them know he knows what happened

Postponing telling bad news, lying by evasions

Prefers to avoid sticky situations where truth would be hard sell. Prefers to evade telling till last moment.

Love...oh the desperate, intense call of the Siren

If earlier his ego had no place in his tenure as tenant at SN, now it was shoved back into a remote corner of this personality. Anything that will make MMji happy, he will do. No qualms.
If he had to give them his life savings, so be it.
If he had to become their slave and let them hold his and Indira's future hostage to their needs, so be it.

Same blindspot as Indira

Cannot see the threat of Sharmas to Indira and himself. Awfully naive

His physique :

Average. Good looking, but not a stud

Our reaction:

Hmmm.

Ok. Who is this guy and what is he playing at.
Oh..why did he do what he just did? who gave him the right

As you can see, Rishi and Sumer are chalk and cheese.

But it is also a matter of under what circumstances and with what intent they came to SN

That defines their actions

That defines our reactions.

some folks prefer in your face eye-candy. for them sumer is an instant hit. No need for slow burn.Come to Mama Baby!

Rishi defines Slow Burn. One day the guy is ok and the next you are totally in love with him. when did that happen, why? you don't know

Sumer like instant infatuation. Rishi is love.

although my reaction to sumer is a zilch or zero😆😆
he has no expressions on his face exept that continous frown of his

although i had fallen for streetsmart rishi kumar so what if he doesnt have the physique
physique doesnt last forever brains do and rishis brains were like 10 people working together god how sharp he used to be
and he is definetly someone who asked me out i would go out with him in a heartbeat 😳

although i think its high time he shows his inner ricky diwan that ego that diwan thinking its buried under his guilt for vdhit and love for indira once that side of him comes out im sure the we would all be happy

and i think this kidnapping has definetly taught him that

most may think that he will forgive the sharmas
but i dont im sure he might wreak havoc in their lives
the guy is not that forgiving hes doing it only for his love and when his love is threatened then that inner ricky diwan will erupt
and thats what im waiting to see😃

till then no hd for me
