I read some posts where ppl were actually criticizing the new girl's acting and I was surprised cuz I found her to be fab...

And I'm finding Varun's character really interesting...Narayani was fab in her scene today...all of the characters look interesting and the actors are all very good too.

Shantannu comes off looking weirdly funny in such " intensely intense" scenes. @Anu-- so I heard you and Mash talk about that PSH show and I checked it out. The cast and the articles say that this is based on real stuff, does that mean such customs do exist in very rural sections of the country even now? Isn't this "bedni-ism" a sort of prostitution? It is real and even I was shocked to know that this is actually happening in a part of India...yes it is a form of forced prostitution but they are giving it "legitimacy" under the guise of saying that it's a "custom and age old tradition"...the basic concept of Rai dancers dancing for money has been exploited over time by Thakurs who have taken advantage of these women and forced them into prostitution in order to feed their families.


anyhow, like you guys said, the lead girl has SPUNK and i liked her scenes with her mum, especially that butterfly one. Oh and her answer back to her "father" was awesome. She didn't have to yell or the editor didn't have to inject some overtly dramatic BG score to bring out the impact of that one sentence. Her tone did all the work that had to be done. and ummm lol @ her habit of talking too fast😆. She's cute that way and yet she's not one of them FRAGILE overtly bubbly character that most other characters are. She exudes confidence from her persona unlike others who seem more overconfident and ummm meh-ish. Oooh you're watching too? Cool...we can all discuss in here then...yeah the lead girl is good...I liked her spunk a lot too...hope the show develops well.

I would have waited to see how the scene played out ... and my tolerance level for SS is way higher than anyone around this place ... for obvious reasons ... I wouldnt have minded the manhandling as much if they weren't almost kissing ... matlab Sharon IS capable of talking UTTER crap ... and she degrades and demeans Swayam's feelings , in front of the ENTIRE college .. so I was toh hoping he'd SLAP her smack on the face .. but wah, kya HAWT promo hai .. and more than that the DIALOGUE .. Dear Merciful GOD.. ITNA cheesy !!

but I wouldn't say NBT has gone down to THAT level yet because ignoring all the cliched stuff from that geet director, everything else still has the original NBT flavor in some way or the other. eh lets see what happens but I wouldn't sign off on NBT for now.

NBT was timepass for me .. so I am not THAT upset .. but the Geet guy is working his "Magic" and its all SO heartwarming. 😳 Khulay baal, Shared room .. next what .. rain dance ?! Addu was the saving grace from last week I say. And WHY is Jeeji so chummy with Rashmi-Ben's Motha !? 😕
