But LadyM, I gotta applaud that atleast you managed to get out of that CMG type zone of watching wohi type ke shows and swooning over them...half the ppl I met during the CMG era are STILL hung up on wohi kind of lame shows...and are currently CT-Jalebi fans😆...I guess this is why I probably couldn't sustain those equations...what will I talk with ppl who STILL want to only watch HAWT stuff with expressionless actors🥱

Yeah, I still watch BALH, but to be honest, I don't particularly seek out any desi show for myself, anymore, if you see what I mean. I basically watch what the fam watches when we get together in the evenings, which tends to be Saas Bina Sasural, Parvarish and BALH. I do skip Devon ke Dev Mahadev (which my dad seems to LOVE) and we all skip Kya Hua Tera Vada, which started off okay but with the entry of Shaina quickly drove itself into the ground and now pisses us all off, especially my mother who refuses to have anything to do with it, lol.

Although, recently, thanks to the crapness that has been SBS, the only shows I've been watching are Parvarish and BALH. But I've got no real incentive to watch any desi thing anymore...gaye woh zamaane, I guess. I'm more into my US shows at the mo, of which there are plenty to keep me busy, lol.

What are you guys watching?

Shaadi ke preps haven't started in earnest yet...they will probably start more in the latter half of the year...I'll be moving, yes but he lives just 3 hours away so I'm not moving far away.

Oh my mom was watching KHTV too but she also got put off by Anushka (I love how you still call her Shaina...even I was calling her that only...lol) and the whole EMA crap...

I've never been able to follow SBS regularly...last I saw some promo where they were bhagaaoing Nitika to get her married to Ved at last.

I'm watching Na bole tum na maine kuch kaha regularly these days and liking that...a bunch of us...Fivr, LadyM, Amy etc. are also watching it...I guess you could say I "seeked" out this show only cuz I saw the promos while I was in India and it intrigued me.

THAT is so true Anu. I am faced with the same problem. I thought I met some really decent people in the CMG era ... but their ongoing fixation for HAWTness has left me absolutely tongue-tied. They cannot look beyond KSG's or any other MUSKLEwala/TATOOwala/intense looks wala/wife abuser but secretly harboring pure LOWE wala actor's HAWTness. 😕 🥱 🤢 That leaves me incredibly bored. Aur aise bhi nahin that these people are teenagers or anything ... phir bhi ... character development, story, good direction/editing etc makes no difference to them! Aise logon se discuss bhi kya karun?

For example - even if you are a MB fan from KZK days, would you watch that serial on LifeOk?

HELL NO.😆...and I've already had an argument over this with someone too...I cannot STAND MB in that show and can't "appreciate" that sick character on any kind of "objective" level.

As for the rest...yeah I seriously don't get it...it's been like 5 years yet ppl are still hung up on KSG and uska Armaan mania...sad...I used to think I was more naive back then...sabka ek pehla experience hota hai of liking a show but ppl OUTGROW stuff...it's VERY ironic that some ppl just haven't OUTGROWN it considering they aren't teenagers to begin with.

And LadyM, you're also a grown lady...a mom...so I don't get the demographic of these women who only find entertainment from watching these kind of lame shows that have NO story...AESTHETICS kuch nahin hote kya? *shakes head*

LOL it's too ironic that I'M the "positive" fan regarding today's MM scene and most fans of the usual MM scenes think Mohan is acting OTT and out of character😆
