LMFAOOO at "joota maata" W*F?? 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 She goes around giving ashirwaad with a golden shoe!? New epicness for hindi soaps. Just. awesome. 👏

Ohhh but waisse I do like that Himanshoo actor too. He's a very good actor, I agree. Very charming. :)) I should've watched that show you guys are talking about...but never got around to it. He looks cute in those avis though.

Rafi: Dude, which reality show ISN'T scripted is my question. :P lol DID is still worth watching mostly because of Terence's genius.

OMG Pallo I just noticed something in Raghav's act...watch that last bit when he's doing the mirror portion...watch Pradeep and Neerav around 2:26 in the bg moving their heads to EVERY exact beat/motion in which Raghav is moving...LOLL...I just found that so randomly cute...and did you see Varun's smile when he was watching Raghav perform?

LOL oh yeahh, I just noticed that now after you mentioned it. haha Cuteee. LOL Varun's such a chilled out guy. He's always amused I find. 😆 Aww I shall miss him.

Yeah I did. Blahh epi hi tha. That connect theme was kind of dumb, actually. Only Terence utilized it well. And then Geeta and Remo were being petty again with their criticism...criticize karna hai toh kuch DHANG ka karo...jeez. Terence had more "connect" in his acts than Geeta and Remo for sure.

Anyways, Terence is a total genius. I actually liked the concept of all his acts. The thought behind all of them. Though the dancing today wasn't that khass overall. Even that "alien" (was it alien? lol)...the Neerav-Piyali one...I thought that was interesting concept wise as well. A little abstract and um "out there"...lol in the literal sense also...but interesting still. I liked how Terence used the music with that cloth prop and everything.

Yeah Raghav-Sneha act was definitely the best one. The two bachas. lol Raghav was pretty good with the romantic chemistry thing. He showed maturity. My fav. moment was the one Remo mentioned...that bit where these two are cutely teasing each other and then they pause. Very creative. Again, that frame/picture concept itself was very creative. Raghav's slow mo skills helped in this act too. lol Sneha was awesome as always. I loved the song choice too. And man, does Terence know how to create moments or what? In this act toh, he was literally capturing the moments also. Very sweet idea. :)

And yeah that "grains of sand" concept too was so innovative. Pradeep danced very well also. Varun was a little off this time...but still not bad.

Basically, Terence's creativity and thought process itself was the best thing about this episode.

Bakki all the other acts were mehhh. That ice dance was kind of dumb. :S Didn't see the point. And Remo's "Amitabh" act was totally uninspiring. He did almost nothing there...simply repeated the movie scene/dialogue...:S Nothing great about that. Not to mention Sanam and Vaibhav weren't in sync either as Geeta mentioned. That bungee act of Mohena and Vaibhav...I liked the idea behind it with the "getting tied in relationships" and all but choreographically (and dance wise) that execution and connect didn't come across. Half baked again. Oh and that bench prop of Geeta's was dumb too...it just didn't work. Kachoombar of the essence of a such a sweet song. Blahh epi is right. lol

I watched the "Tower Heist" the other day. lol @ eddie murphy and his antics!

by the way, I was watching Dateline yesterday and they had a report on drug companies and clinical trials and all that and they showed about clinical trials being conducted in India on human subjects. They were showing interviews of those people who were volunteering for the drug trial and the directors of the clinical research companies. The subjects were all from very poor background and stated that they took it up because they needed the money. The guys conducting clinical research were interviewed with hidden camera with the reporter taking a proposal about a drug trial from a made-up company and the drug was the one that was pulled out from the market because of serious adverse effects. The clinical research directors were like "We don't think there will be any problem in getting approval from the Indian ethics committee" and all that while the reporter was posing as the CEO of the fake company but when he revealed his identity, they tried to twist their tale😆.
anyhow, it was just an interesting report on the drug companies and clinical trials. The report also revealed how even though there are so many regulations in the States, some companies still get around and conduct trials on foreign soil and stuff. Quite dangerous, isn't it?

To be correct, it was Joota Mata RANI😆😆...don't even ask...god, my head is still spinning from that last 2 weeks of retardedness.

Oh yeah you toh must know Himanshoo from AKA, haina? Haan he's a good actor...hope he comes back in a good show.

Varun had a sense of humor...and genuinely seemed HAPPY for his fellow contestants whenever they danced...did you see the limelight from this week and what Terence said about him? That most of the other contestants were professionals in one way or the other but Varun was one of the rawest and he's gained a whole another kind of polish with his journey in DID...Geeta was saying there is this innocence about him that is really sweet.

LOL ditto to most of what you said...I also feel only Terence utilized the concept ACTUALLY creatively...although I didn't really like or UNDERSTAND the Neerav-Piyali act much...it had it's visual appeal but there wasn't much DANCING to it otherwise...mujhe toh concept samajh hi nahin aaya...what kind of "world" was that in which these two "creatures" were stuck in this CLOTH?😕😆

Anyways, since last night I've watched Raghav-Sneha's act more and I've grown to actually LOVE it now...it had some BEAUTIFUL choreography moments and on second watch I think Raghav did better than I'd thought the first time...yes I also loved that "freeze" moment when Sneha comes out of that picture in a sense and dances and then he does the same...I LOVE this song...and I think they brought out the feel of the song very well...har ek beat pakad ke they danced...I think they'd actually make a good dancing pair for the future epis cuz Sneha's crisp enough as a dancer to match Raghav's style...he might have more difficulty with the other ppl left in the group.

Yes, Terence totally knows how to capture moments...the concept was just LOVELY and so LOVINGLY choreographed...that is what you feel in Terence ki choreography...the LOVE with which he imagines these moments and wants to express them through dance.

In the grains of sand...yes, Varun was slightly off in some portions but I still LOVED the idea...especially the bit when it started 'raining' and you can hear each drop splashing and the way the 'grains' react...I'm gonna miss Varun :((

As for the rest of the acts...ehhh...Mohena just did a repeat of the concept she's already danced to with Sanam...the whole "complicated relationship of a couple" concept...and Remo ne aevein, "this is symbolizing MARRIAGE" daal diya😆...but chalo I'd still say this act was better than Rajasmita-Paul ka ice act...woh toh conceptually was epic fail...like seriously ice pe dance karna is what kind of connect? Just cuz it's difficult, everyone is all wow? Half the time, Paul was not touching the ice AT all and just basically sliding Rajasmita around...lol

I actually liked the choreography of the Rajasmita-Abhik act but yes execution mein locha tha😆...concept was also kinda dumb and actually not even much of a concept but the few moments that didn't get messed up, they did do nicely...nicely timed with the music I'd say.

Re: Sanam...lol I love that scene from the original movie...so the dialogues were making me laugh but yeah it didn't really have any dancing...upar se co-ordination errors.

I didn't like the LOGIC behind Guddu marrying Runjhun in the first place.. Marrying her so no one else can marry her and take her away? Why not just be a thug and have no one else marry her period? But eh.. Once they were married, their character interactions were so amazing k I was okay with ignoring the mama mami crap. But you're right. Towards August I was really shaking my head at Runjhun. Khamakhaan zabardasti k dramey k liye they turned Runjhun into a dimwit who fell for her mama-mamis crap. I mean did they really mean to show k she REALLY did not know how her mama mamis were? Even after living with them for so many years? For a girl who was shown to be so sensible otherwise, this random flaw was just weird. Even baad mein bhi this same "mahaanta" of her caused a rift between her and Guddu. I really felt for the guy everytime he'd ask her to realize the true nature of her rishtedaar. Bechara.. He really wanted her to not be exploited by them anymore but woh sunney tab na. He was so helpless in that regards - he wanted the best for her but she was the one standing in his way all the time. With that random mahanta. 😕😆

Yep and I just found it so hilarious how GIDDY she was running around and laughing and bossing Guddu around while he's just watching her with this bemused sa affectionate look😆

Do you remember that guy who started dancing with Runjhun? Guddu was so not ready to participate in Runjhun's silliness but not even trying to stop her from enjoying herself.. He was just happy being a distant spectator - up until he saw that guy. 😆 Aur phir toh he was right there, pushing that guy away, marking his territory so to speak. I found that oddly cute and funny.

Ditto...I think that's credit to Nivi's natural acting and chemistry with Himanshoo...they never went OTT with depicting GR's relationship...every stage was evolved so nicely that even when it finally came to the "SR" point, you could feel the DEPTH, the LOVE in their relationship without OTT lameness...and yeah I also liked how that other SR scene was shot after the fire...they didn't make it into an EVENT...thank heavens...anyways, in this one I loved how they could LAUGH with each other and not just make it some maha EPIC event😆

Word dude! I loved that too k they didn't turn the SR into an oh-so-big deal. They were married, in love and had finally confessed to each other toh they were happy and enjoying each others company. It wasn't an event that was drum rolled to. It was so natural and so simple! I really enjoyed their relationship yaar.. If I miss anything, I miss these two and the ease/familiarity/love these two had for each other and how that had evolved from those initial days when these two REALLY couldn't stand the sight of each other (and not because of some warped forced "I hate you" moments.. they had genuine reasons to dislike each other - what ever they may have been)..

A lot of Baaji's kurtas I saw on one of Guddu's friends too...lol

Oh! I didn't know that.. 😃 That's interesting.. I didn't notice the friend's kurtas but I did like the relationship Guddu had with that one friend of his who later married Runjhun's cousin. The other friend was a loser. But he was really fun. Especially that one scene of theirs where he tells Guddu k it's a good thing he didn't accept Runjhun's 30-day challenge (after RG come back from visit G's mother at the hospital) because dushman bhari parh sakta tha.. 😆😆😆

LOL yes I remember that bit...honestly Guddu was like the small screen DABANGG...haha...he brought that attitude out perfectly...the balance b/w the softer side and his brusque thuggish side...but thankfully he was never a CHEAP gunda like the ones in all the other shows.

Exactly...you know love/hate stories aren't new...we are being assaulted by one right now in the ultimate crappy manner as the "#1 show"...but in the case of GR, the evolution was ACTUALLY well shown...there was genuinely a time when she was REPULSED by him and didn't randomly melt into a puddle at the sight of him or keep having stupid trip/catches with him...those kind of things shoot the credibility of anything OVERNIGHT...heck even a Mills and Boon novel has more credibility to it's characters compared to CT-Jalebi.

So yes, that evolution was what made GR interesting to watch in that you actually feel the emotions of the characters and WANT to root for them.

LOL the friend of Guddu's that married Runjhun's cousin was called Kukkan and yes he's the guy who was wearing Baaji's kurtas sometimes😆...he was a very sweet character...I liked how he always stood by Guddu and understood him so well...the other guy toh was just a loser.
