Yeah I did. Blahh epi hi tha. That connect theme was kind of dumb, actually. Only Terence utilized it well. And then Geeta and Remo were being petty again with their criticism...criticize karna hai toh kuch DHANG ka karo...jeez. Terence had more "connect" in his acts than Geeta and Remo for sure.
Anyways, Terence is a total genius. I actually liked the concept of all his acts. The thought behind all of them. Though the dancing today wasn't that khass overall. Even that "alien" (was it alien? lol)...the Neerav-Piyali one...I thought that was interesting concept wise as well. A little abstract and um "out there"...lol in the literal sense also...but interesting still. I liked how Terence used the music with that cloth prop and everything.
Yeah Raghav-Sneha act was definitely the best one. The two bachas. lol Raghav was pretty good with the romantic chemistry thing. He showed maturity. My fav. moment was the one Remo mentioned...that bit where these two are cutely teasing each other and then they pause. Very creative. Again, that frame/picture concept itself was very creative. Raghav's slow mo skills helped in this act too. lol Sneha was awesome as always. I loved the song choice too. And man, does Terence know how to create moments or what? In this act toh, he was literally capturing the moments also. Very sweet idea. :)
And yeah that "grains of sand" concept too was so innovative. Pradeep danced very well also. Varun was a little off this time...but still not bad.
Basically, Terence's creativity and thought process itself was the best thing about this episode.
Bakki all the other acts were mehhh. That ice dance was kind of dumb. :S Didn't see the point. And Remo's "Amitabh" act was totally uninspiring. He did almost nothing there...simply repeated the movie scene/dialogue...:S Nothing great about that. Not to mention Sanam and Vaibhav weren't in sync either as Geeta mentioned. That bungee act of Mohena and Vaibhav...I liked the idea behind it with the "getting tied in relationships" and all but choreographically (and dance wise) that execution and connect didn't come across. Half baked again. Oh and that bench prop of Geeta's was dumb too...it just didn't work. Kachoombar of the essence of a such a sweet song. Blahh epi is right. lol
LOL ditto to most of what you said...I also feel only Terence utilized the concept ACTUALLY creatively...although I didn't really like or UNDERSTAND the Neerav-Piyali act much...it had it's visual appeal but there wasn't much DANCING to it otherwise...mujhe toh concept samajh hi nahin aaya...what kind of "world" was that in which these two "creatures" were stuck in this CLOTH?😕😆
Anyways, since last night I've watched Raghav-Sneha's act more and I've grown to actually LOVE it now...it had some BEAUTIFUL choreography moments and on second watch I think Raghav did better than I'd thought the first time...yes I also loved that "freeze" moment when Sneha comes out of that picture in a sense and dances and then he does the same...I LOVE this song...and I think they brought out the feel of the song very well...har ek beat pakad ke they danced...I think they'd actually make a good dancing pair for the future epis cuz Sneha's crisp enough as a dancer to match Raghav's style...he might have more difficulty with the other ppl left in the group.
Yes, Terence totally knows how to capture moments...the concept was just LOVELY and so LOVINGLY choreographed...that is what you feel in Terence ki choreography...the LOVE with which he imagines these moments and wants to express them through dance.
In the grains of sand...yes, Varun was slightly off in some portions but I still LOVED the idea...especially the bit when it started 'raining' and you can hear each drop splashing and the way the 'grains' react...I'm gonna miss Varun :((
As for the rest of the acts...ehhh...Mohena just did a repeat of the concept she's already danced to with Sanam...the whole "complicated relationship of a couple" concept...and Remo ne aevein, "this is symbolizing MARRIAGE" daal diya😆...but chalo I'd still say this act was better than Rajasmita-Paul ka ice act...woh toh conceptually was epic fail...like seriously ice pe dance karna is what kind of connect? Just cuz it's difficult, everyone is all wow? Half the time, Paul was not touching the ice AT all and just basically sliding Rajasmita around...lol
I actually liked the choreography of the Rajasmita-Abhik act but yes execution mein locha tha😆...concept was also kinda dumb and actually not even much of a concept but the few moments that didn't get messed up, they did do nicely...nicely timed with the music I'd say.
Re: Sanam...lol I love that scene from the original movie...so the dialogues were making me laugh but yeah it didn't really have any dancing...upar se co-ordination errors.
