Background History
This story is about a girl named Phulwa, who fought for justice. The story begins from Phulwa's childhood. Phulwa, at the age of ten, lost her childhood due to injustice done by Thakur Daroga Singh. Thakur hates Phulwa because she holds the ability to influence the poor people of Chambal Village. Thakur plots against Phulwa and gets her married at the age of 11 to Shankar (played by Angad Hasija). He believes that Shankar will make Phulwa's life hell, but Shankar turns out to be nice and caring. He frees Phulwa from all the marriage bonds, because they never shared such a relationship and never could. However, before any of this could take place Sharbati, who loved Shankar, backstabbed them. Phulwa's entire family is killed in front of her eyes and Shankar helps her escape before he dies. Here are quick few episodes if you want to watch where her family is killed. Journey of Phulwa & Abhay
This is where the story begins of adult Phulwa. A leap happens after Shankar's death and we see the adult Phulwa for the first time as a Dacoit. Phulwa, is all set to avenge the death of her entire family. This is the introduction scene of adult Phulwa.

Thakur and Sharbati start their planning to kill Phulwa, meanwhile the story then takes a turn. A villiager, Shatrugan aka Shatru enters Phulwa's life. They meet each other for the first time.

Meanwhile, Thakur has created misunderstandings between Phulwa and the villiager. Phulwa tries to clear those misunderstandings, but the villagers attack her and Shatru saves her.

Time moves along and a few light moments occur between Shatru and Phulwa. Shatru notices the innocent child hidden inside Phulwa, while he instigates her to play a game. He sees her laugh for the first time.

During this time, Sharbati enters the village with a ghoonghat so no one can recognize her. She puts poison in Phulwa's food, which accidently is eaten by one of the dacoit's little girl. To save her, Shatru and Phulwa volunteer to go to the city and get her treated. Thakur learns that Phulwa is coming to the city so he reaches there at the hospital and we see the first confrontation of Thakur and Adult Phulwa.

While escaping Shatru was shot. He is in terrible condition and Phulwa has to take out the bullet and he hugs her because of so much pain.

Shatru is still injured and they have the little child with them when Thakur turns up at the house that they were hiding in. The owners of that house tell Thakur that their relative have come, but Thakur doesn't believe and breaks the door to see a couple lying in an odd position on the bed. Thakur closes the door immediately assuming the homeowners were right. Well, turns out that the couple there was none other than Shatru and Phulwa. They are caught in an embarrassing moment.

Finally they all make it back home safely, but then investigation starts as to who put poison in the food. The blame is put on Shatru, however Phulwa trusts him. They purposely play this game to find out the truth of Nirali, the girl with the ghoonghat, who is actually Sarbathi. Phulwa tries to punish herself for hitting Shatru infront of everyone as an act, but he stops her.

Shatru confronts Phulwa about her ever wanting a different relationship above her family, such as a saathi. Shatru tells phulwa that he sees emptiness in her life, which could only be filled by a better half, but Phulwa avoids this confrontation.

Phulwa stands against her sister to support Shatru. He feels obliged as no one ever showed so much trust on him. Phulwa is left thinking. Phulwa has fallen in love with Shatru.

Shatru is Revealed to be in Police Force, ACP ABHAY RAI SINGH. It is also revealed that Abhay rai singh has a girlfriend named Aarthi, who is also in the police force.

Shatru returns to the village and goes to meet Phulwa, who is avoiding him because before he left he had wanted to see Phulwa dressed up.

Phulwa finally breaks the last constraint. She dresses up for Abhay aka Shatru. She asks him to promise her to never change. He makes her wear a dupatta that his mother gave for her.

Finally, the entire Dacoit family of Phulwa accepts Shatru and Phulwa's relationship. They are enjoying, while suddenly Phulwa's Brother Babbu's eyes land on a newspaper that has Abhay's picture. He tries to break the news, but fails. Abhay and Sharbati capture him.

Abhay quickly puts his plans in action before their plan is revealed. He gets the entire dacoit family to go to Mata's mandir so that they can meet his parents for their rishta. The entire police force is in disguise at the mandir waiting for all of them to come.

Meanwhile Babu escapes and reaches mandir. Abhay shoots Babu and Phulwa and gayatri hear the gun shot they come running. They still don't realize its Abhay and are worried for Baby till finally their eyes land on the gun that Abhay is holding. Abhay reveals to Phulwa that he is a police inspector. She is absolutely heartbroken.

Abhay humiliates Phulwa in front of everyone. He makes her wear bangles, earrings, and dupatta all that she did for him the day before when she dressed up for him. She is in shock. Abhay arrests everyone and the public goes mad. The public loves Phulwa because she always stood up for their rights.
