Darcy is brilliant and so is Rochester though when you read the prequel Wide Sargasso Sea - you will hate Rochester ... And Have you read Emma by Jane Austen - Mr. Knightly is again one wonderful character ... I like the combination of the three ... but my favourite is Devdas ...

Yes I have read Wuthering Heights and somehow I just hate Catherine and Heathcliff for some unknown reason ...

Yes Gone With The Wind - I am yet to read the sequel but you must read Gone With The Wind - it's amazing ... It is so realistic - Scarlett realises Rhett's love only when he leaves her at the end and realises that she too is in love with him ... I just love it!!

P.S. Thank you Mehak🤗

yes i have read Emma!!!!!!!! i simply lovee Jane austen adn Charlotte Bronte!! two of my fav writers!!!!!!!
yup i will surely read Gone With The Wind! i so want to read it!!!! but this time when i go to buy it i will keep my eyes open!!!!!! :p

yar m not in into sequels actually! i mean sometimes they just destroy the love u have for teh first novel!!!! besides no one can write Pride an Prejudice as good as Jane Austen!!!!!! :p same goes for all the other novels!!!!!!!
awww.. i love Rochester!!!! you know my best part of the novel was indeed the one she worked for Rochester!!!!! it was amazing!!!!

not to forget the part when she finds out abt his wife just before thr wedding! yar i simply love JAne eyre!!!!!! its too good!!!!!!
but you know we had a question in paper that Charlotte Bronte said something about Jane Austen not portraying emotions and being very monotonous!!! and i got so angry at Charlotte that i wrote in paper, " if Jane Austen has no hidden wives in her novel who jumps from burning towers that doesn't mean she is not good at portraying emotions !!!! :p

You didnt!!! My God - you are amazing Mehak🤣 But I agree, their style of writing is different - you cannot compare Elizabeth and Jane Eyre but both of them are brilliant in their own spaces ... You cannot compare two authors - everyone has a different perception and ways of handling emotions!!

Wide Sargasso Sea is the story about Bertha and Rochester - why was Bertha insane? The book answers this question ... it's from both of theirs povs and it's really sad and it ends with Bertha walking down the stairs with the candle in her hand ready to burn the mansion ...

Jane Eyre is just too good!! I really admire her character - the strength she holds - it's beautiful ...

hehe!!!!! yes i did JAee! and it was my final exam!!!!! the best part was i scored really well in the paper!!!! :p
i agree Jaee! no two authors can ever be compared!!!!!!!

oh!!! yar this novel really sounds sad!!!!! Wide Sargasso Sea - the name of teh novel is pretty intriguing though!!!!!!!! chalo i will try and read it too !!!!!!!!! however i am about to made a coment wich my bestfrnds already found pretty odd- i just dont like sad novels!!!! as in fantasies and dreams should be happy ones! what good is thr to read sad things when you have all the media to give u the sordid details of real life!!!!!! :s
i know this sounds odd!! and well i do fall in love with sad novels too! like Kite runner and i love suspense specially Dam Brown but i wont get into what depression they cause me! and tears!!! uff! its all about crying!!!!!
i guess i agree with *jiju* here ( i hope i can call him that! cant think of anything else! :p ) what good is thr in reading something that will make you cry!!!!!

Great ...and ofcourse you can call him jiju, even Di calls him that ... But you know I like reading both happy fantasy and sad novels because it eventually balances my emotions ... Kite Runner I want to read - I am desperately waiting to buy that ... Dan Brown somehow doesn't interest me - I don't know why ... Have you read Mitch Alboom's novels?
