Heyyy Anu, Shreya, Fivr and anyone else who's around *waves*

Zama does seem like a rude type of guy. I remember reading even previously when someone had sent him a constructive criticism regarding the Sona track, he had retorted back saying something along the lines of "go get your eyes checked, the TRPs are increasing" types ... so people had already given up hope on him. I do know that there are some very obsessive fan girls out there who send non-stop nonsense emails to the makers, but I think as a part of the creative team, you should be able to filter out genuine ones from the crap.

Re: Navya - Boy oh boy - you folks have said almost everything I wanted to say. I just loved the college scenes where the friends kinda put two and two together and start "teasing" a potential couple. It seems so real that I could almost imagine myself in Navya's place. Although I wasn't exactly the shy/fumbling-bumbling types, I did have over-enthusiastic friends like hers who were eager to pair me off with any potential candidate at the time. Ab yeh baat alag hai ki I never fell into the peer pressure trap. But Ritika-Ranbir and Appy are ditto copies of what my friends very back then. To cut the long story short, the college portion of the episode was extremely credible and very well handled. It definitely brought back memories :-)

Re: Anant's family - DUDE! Weird is the word ... but I'm so not surprised. I did have a classmate who actually hailed from such a patriarch influenced family and thought it was his right to get a dowry as he was an engineer no less! and that women empowerment was a hoax. *rolls eyes*

Edit: Anu - I love your Navya siggy. Have you made any more that I can steal? I need to change my Khotey Sikkey and WC siggy ... don't feel like taking off the rare P&P one.

Aww thanks, LadyM...feel free to use this sig if you want...I haven't made any others yet but will try to make them later tonight and post them :-)

Yeah totallyyy the college scenes are being very naturally shown...very identifiable especially with the whole friends and how the liking thing starts bit...haha...I'm sure everyone has dealt with this at some point...even if none of us are fumbling types like Navya...lol

Oh yeah so true also about how there are all kinds of weird families out there too...I guess that's why there's such a contrast b/w Navya's parents and Anant's...showing that it takes all kinds to make up this world...for us this is weird since we didn't grow up with or interact with such families but I guess they do exist...I just don't get though how Anant has turned out to be such a sensible and nice guy emerging from this kooky family...guess he's the outlier😆

Shreya - I know! I'm too much of a fan to take off P&P siggy just yet. I loved this version of P&P with Colin Firth as Darcy and Jennifer Ehle as Elizabeth. Rest of the characters were okay too. What I liked most about this version was that it pretty much stayed true to the book. It was actually a stroke of luck - I had watched this P&P recently and sighted this siggy in someone else's siggy box. I shamelessly flicked it without asking for permission or without knowing who the original creator was. All I cared about was that it was the perfect siggy for me. 😃

Edit: I like couple of scenes like the hospital scene where Anant admires Navya's maturity when she walks away, the scene where she is sitting by her window daydreaming and also the college scene where she feeds him a story and he is amused.

LOL!! Kabhi kabhi josh charhta hai toh I let go of all the "diplomatic decorum".. 😳😆😆 But these guys really do act like they have NO manners! Bass laad karte raho in ko toh they are all giggles, warna zara kuch bol do toh bachon ki tarhan daharain mar mar k roote hain! Losers! HOW do these people reach such high posts mujhey samajh nahi ata! Public dealing nahi hai toh kya ghoos dey k upar charhte hain..?! 🤢

Did you check out that topic in the forum about MV at the Gen next awards or something?? Major shocker...Mahi went easy on the makeup...she hardly has any makeup on...I've never seen her without piling on OTT makeup off-screen...lol...and I read that even MB was at that event...but didn't seen pics :S

I didn't! Let me go check! Mahi with no makeup?!?! 😲 That's a first!! *runs to see*

Re: Anant - That was my exact reaction as well - how come he's the sensible one (potentially his family's black sheep) when his family is made up of weirdos ... but then there is his mild chachaji who has no voice and his conservative upbringing. To me Anant doesn't seem to be spoilt silly. Either his stern father or his dour widowed aunt are constantly taking him to task for making the smallest of the mistakes. Add to that - his grandfather is keeping him on the edge by holding him up to extremely high standards. Even his elder brother seems equally subdued despite his loud, cantankerous and instigating wife.

So it looks like she's going to help him in the computer test after all! 😆

I dunno why - but just for kicks I kept on wishing that she had said no!

LadyM, good choices...I'm deffo making one on the scene from Wed when he's laughing at her as she's narrating what story to tell Ranveer and is fumbling/bumbling her way through that only...lol...the others are nice too...will see if I can find HQ caps or take some myself.

Re: Anant...yeah he could be the "black sheep" of his family for sure...if not now, then future mein toh pucca once he fully falls for Navya...haha...the family dynamics are weird...I still can't fully figure them out :S

*Edit: Cant' see the vid...at work...but yeah read about the promo...you're actually surprised that she said yes?? haha...this toh was expected...she obviously isn't going to say no to him...I'm intrigued to see how this plays out though and what Anant makes of this😆

Heyaa,

Sorry about gatecrashing.. Was meaning to post in this CC since a couple of months back, just got about posting now. talks a lot about my timeliness :p

I wanted to say that I enjoy reading this CC, (or stalking may be the right word, I guess). I read this CC ON and OFF and couple of things tht I like are the strong opinions about series/characters and ability to have discussions without being offended by opposing views.

I do not watch TV that often, but I like reading about characters and their impact. I love reading for eg, the Booth and Bones discussion that happens here, though I haven't watched any. and of course the LTL ones. Though I have only watched scenes of the show On and oFF (mainly for MR), I like the way they are analysed here. Umm.. now does that make a fangirl of this CC? 🤔

Hoping there is a common series at some point, where I could participate in your discussions...

Err.. Sorry again about gatecrashing.. 😳 now will withdraw as gracefully as I can ...

-- Mru

ps: couldnt resist adding,
@LadyMacbeth : P&P with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle is my most fav one. I had watched that series in the late 90s, in India and then it was the first DVD set I bought after moving to US ..
