She does look cute in there, I agree! And about the show, it's been airing for a couple of weeks now haina? Usually we can figure out if the show will be semi decent with in the first month toh I guess I can watch it now. Plus I'm sure an LTL break will do me good too - LTL dekh k ussi ki adat ho gayi hai.. Thora change karon takey I can get used to watching other shows too.. Chalo, lets add to my never ending things to watch wali list.. 😆

Tomorrow is basically a sit-in-bed-watching-shows wala day toh I am hoping to catch up on most of them tomorrow.. Baki dekhte hain k actual mein kitna catch up hota hai.. 😆

LOL I don't think I can ever fully stop watching LTL...it pulls me back...vintage LTL also I have to catch up on...but for some reason just felt like taking a slight break and watching stuff that DOESN'T overwhelm me so...less thinking required😆

Navya is in it's third week right now and as of now I have to say that I'm finding the way they are developing the AN relationship to be nice...the characters and whatever their personalities are...and the way the friends are a part of the situation...it's quite life-like...aise hi hota hai college mein...he likes she...then you've got random ppl telling you or your friends telling you...planting that seed in your mind...then you start thinking, "does she like me? Does he like me" LOL...little little things like that have been nicely dealt with up till this point I feel despite some slight weird and OTT bits...worst being Anant's weird family ofcourse...fast forward material😆

I'm intrigued to see how and where they'll take the AN equation from this point on...and if they'll rush the love story or not and what they'll do after that...accordingly I can tune out😆

@ Fivr: LOL I do know what you mean about always being the last one to be in on the news around here. haha That's why I post stuff anyways. :P 😆 And it usually turns out that everyone else has already read/seen that stuff but I still post apni tasali ke liye. :P 😆

About the promo, I also liked the contrasting reactions to the rain. She's all about being in the rain, taking it in...and he's just shutting it all out. Very interestingly shown. Looking forward to it too. More than anything, I'm most interested in the Ram-Sakshi pairing. That alone is enough to pull me in. 😆 Though I forgot the name of the show already?! :S Kuch lamba chauda sa naam tha. *soching* 😆

Oh and about Ram's toand...I think he is limiting himself only with the kinds of roles he can play with that weight. That toand just makes him look like he is 50 and an uncleji. :P 😆 It worked in Udaan though, since he was the jovial, huggable kind of personality you would want to go to. 😆 But it's harder to take him seriously with that toand sticking out. :P 😆 What's annoying is that the toand doesn't seem to be decreasing AT ALL! 🤣 It keeps inflating only, like a balloon. *shakes head hopelessly* Yeh nahin ki weight loose nahin kar sakta toh maintain hi karle. But he's just TOTALLY letting himself go. Jo hona hai hota rahe. *carefree muh* 🤣 Kya banda hai yaar. 😆

On the other hand though, this toand of his might help in this new role of his. He seems to be the sadu, non-motivated, could care less types in this show. 😆 So that might actually work out then. Now I am just contradicting my own theory about his toand limiting his roles. This guy just makes it work somehow I guess. 😆

And Zainu, LMAO at you and your ami! "Coat ka button band kyun kiya?" 🤣 It's a miracle ki that button actually closed! :P hehehe. 😆

Ok enough making fun of Ram and his toand. :| *remembers that she actually likes the guy* :P 😆

Oh heyyy Pallo! I watched the Ram-Sakshi promo at last too...looks really good! Sakshi especially looks very pretty :-) And they've used the classic song as the background track too it seems...lol...'bade achhe lagte hain...yeh nadiya...something something...aur tum" LOL...yeah damnnn long title...let's just call this show BALH...bade achhe lagte hain...usse aage bolne ki zaroorat nahin...lol...Ram wasn't that bad...looks as motu as I last remember him...koi khaas change nahin hai...LOL...I'm just intrigued to see two powerful actors together...and hopefully no saas-bahu crap.

Heyy Anu. :) Yeah the promo looks really good. Sakshi looks naturally beautiful. :) Ram's toand looks bigger to me...but maybe it's the coat button or something. haha. Anyways, I am also mostly intrigued to see these two acting together. That thought alone actually makes me pretty excited! :D Yeah, hopefully it's a decent story. I have hopes because the promo is well shot. It doesn't give away much...but it's just enough to give us an inclination to what both of the main characters are like. I also liked the metaphorical touch of the rain bit...and Ram's shutting it all out gesture. The promo really gets the point across well. 👍🏼

I had my day of catching up and watching shows today. 😆 Caught up on Kismat and also Navya. :P 😆 About Navya in my next post. Abhi Kismat bak-bak. :P

@ Amy: haha really the makers of Kismat denied the Kane and Abel inspiration? I haven't even read the book, and it's pretty obvious to me too that the show is clearly based on it. lol Anyways, I finally caught up on it. And I'm glad I did. The show is pretty interesting and I definitely want to finish it. I do really want to know how it would end. I think the foreshadowing dialogues really help in keeping me interested. 😆 Also I think what I like most too, is the intelligence of the characters. Especially Kabir and Adi of course. I like how they think things through.

I really liked how the Vasudha track was handled. Especially regarding Uncle Vish and Adi. This incident really complicated their relationship. So those complications and the delicate aspects of such a situation were shown really well I thought. 👍🏼

I wonder if the show is planning on going into the whole partition angle again and the deal with Kabir's dad. I guess that is one track they will stretch out till the end.

I don't like how Lubna is kind of sidelined though. I liked her perceptive inputs about Kabir. And her judgement on how he's so changed from when she first met him. The transition from that bar waiter to this hotel owner. Sapna on the other hand is pretty involved in Adi's life. I wish Lubna would get the same treatment. Maybe they are showing the whole patriarchal values being more influential in Kabir's family as opposed to Adi's. Still I would like to see Lubna's reactions too once in a while. I mean, how can she not have anything to say about what her husband has been upto these days! It's not like she is clueless either. Because that fire/mill incident was mentioned in front of everyone by Kabir's dad during the Eid gathering! 😕 Is she just choosing to be ignorant on purpose?

And I do like how that connection between Adi and Kabir is shown again and again. Now with the Gautam and Rihana characters being back. I would've never guessed these guys would be back and connected to Kabir in this way! 😲 😆 And now Kabir witnessing Mini's incident too. It's like they keep getting connected in the most unexpected of ways. That's kismat for ya I guess. *cheesy muh* 😛 😆

Anyhow, the show is getting interesting now. I hope you stick around and come back here though Amy, so I have someone to discuss this show with finally. 😆 Looking forward to watching more. I can finally watch it on TV from next week! :D

So I caught up on those 8 AN scenes uploaded on youtube and then watched the previous 3 full episodes of Navya. And I have to agree, the show has this natural sweetness to it. Navya is such a split personality at home vs. in college. She is so smiley and relaxed at home vs. so tensed and scared in college. Low self-confidence I guess. She reminds me of those animated Disney heroines. 😆 Especially that recent movie Tangled...the girl in that movie. Navya has that wide eyed look. And the forever tensed sa face too. 😆

I like Anant's character though. Seems like a normal, sensible sa college going kid. Very easygoing and chill too.😆 He's such a nice guy too. :)

At first the AN interactions were annoying me because of Navya's dumbstruck muh's. But it got better after she started talking a little. 😆 The rain/dupatta scene was very refreshingly shown. Liked how Anant just matter of factly and sensibly tucked away Navya's dupatta so it wouldn't fly off again. 😆 No big deal was made about that thank goodness. 😆 And the dadi scene was really cute too. "Sabki daadiyan aissi hi hoti hain" Aww. 😆 Very naturally shown. Then I liked the college scene where Anant is so amused because of the way Navya is so seriously telling him what to tell his friends. 😆 And Anu, the bit in your sig was really sweet too. Navya looked quite adorable daydreaming there. 😆 Remembering the "paagal ladki hai" bit. 😆

I like the friends too. Today's scene of Anant's with his friend...Ranvir...or Ranbir is it? I liked how the friend was getting Anant confused there and getting him to think about whether Navya really likes him or not. 😆

Both Anant and Navya are like these nice, sweet kids. 😆 What is refreshing about their interactions is the simplicity and the natural-ness. And both Anant and Navya are not your stereotypical shy girl, cool guy (that everyone has a crush on) type of characters. It's a different kind of a 'shy' and a 'cool'. 😆 Convincing because if feels genuine and natural, and not wannabe or trying too hard types. :)

About Anant's family...I was seriously like WOAHH when I first saw them. They were just so out of the blue and random with their OTT ghunghats and all. :S And the super irritating dadi-bhua or whatever...and that sadi hui bhabhi. Ugh. Too many saas-bahu OTT type female characters in that family.

Minus Anant's OTT family...and the sometimes slow-paced college antics; the show isn't bad at all. Sweet and simple. Let's see how long it lasts this way now. 😆
