Oh yeah if you are watching Hum toh Pakistani shows does seem wayyy better than Indian ones. Quality wise, relatively, it's a good channel...but have you ever watched Geo? Woh quality wise Indian shows ko bhi maat dede...such pathetic shows that channel airs!

yaar Zainu this is so wierd...coz aaj kuchh der pehle hi i was just browsing through the CCs n CFCs and was reading through the purana posts...n it felt sooo nice...those were the times yaar...kitni masti hoti thi...n yeah i do remember the 25th CC awards...that was such a fun time...those award wala siggs were some of my best works...i loved making them !!! :)

So I caught up on those 8 AN scenes uploaded on youtube and then watched the previous 3 full episodes of Navya. And I have to agree, the show has this natural sweetness to it. Navya is such a split personality at home vs. in college. She is so smiley and relaxed at home vs. so tensed and scared in college. Low self-confidence I guess. School . I miss school.

I like Anant's character though. Seems like a normal, sensible sa college going kid. Very easygoing and chill too.😆 He's such a nice guy too. :)

Nice is the most appropriate word ANYONE can use to describe Anant I guess...Anu and Amy and I were analysing things a bit in this one post and I guess we repeated that over and over again...he's just a genuinely nice guy : ) Aur gentleeeman hai of course..aaj kal number STORE karne ki permission kaun mangta hai ?! Log toh number LENE ki permission bhi nahi mangte :P

At first the AN interactions were annoying me because of Navya's dumbstruck muh's. But it got better after she started talking a little. 😆 The rain/dupatta scene was very refreshingly shown. Liked how Anant just matter of factly and sensibly tucked away Navya's dupatta so it wouldn't fly off again. 😆 No big deal was made about that thank goodness. 😆 And the dadi scene was really cute too. "Sabki daadiyan aissi hi hoti hain" Aww. 😆 Very naturally shown. Then I liked the college scene where Anant is so amused because of the way Navya is so seriously telling him what to tell his friends. 😆 And Anu, the bit in your sig was really sweet too. Navya looked quite adorable daydreaming there. 😆 Remembering the "paagal ladki hai" bit. 😆

I never found them annoying as such..I'd say I found them embarrassing :S In a very giggly sort of way :P Haan , it's definitely nice how she's opening up to him ab...and now she doesn't seem to have that many qualms in talking to him 😆 Exactlyyy ! Anant's reaction salvaged the scene for me... warna toh jo jaata kabada :P Like Anu said , it was as if he was bemused by the whole dupatta nonsense as well ... Navya's reaction was typical though :P But that is exactly what I would expect from someone like her so that didn't jar with me either ..and the comment about Navya's dadi was , again just so nice of him 😛 I liked how he empathised with her obvious embarrassment over her dadi's behaviour...normally toh people would just snigger or something...I definitely would 😛

I like the friends too. Today's scene of Anant's with his friend...Ranvir...or Ranbir is it? I liked how the friend was getting Anant confused there and getting him to think about whether Navya really likes him or not. 😆

When you say you the like the friends , I shall assume you didn't include Harry of the Jungle in that category :-/ because , is he ANNOYING , or what :-/ I seriously , really feel like chutney-banaofying him , I swear I do .

Mashie and ZP , IF you're reading this , add another one to the tally of ugly guys in our soaps .

Both Anant and Navya are like these nice, sweet kids. 😆 What is refreshing about their interactions is the simplicity and the natural-ness. And both Anant and Navya are not your stereotypical shy girl, cool guy (that everyone has a crush on) type of characters. It's a different kind of a 'shy' and a 'cool'. 😆 Convincing because if feels genuine and natural, and not wannabe or trying too hard types. :)

That is exactly what works for the show for now...now being the operative word 😆 Absolutely , absolutely ... I was telling AP that it seemed finally the writers got it into their heads that characters don't need to use 'cool lingo' and participate in cheerleading squads and what-not to pass off for college-going kids in India..yahaan , the whole gossip and adda thing captures campus life more appropriately I'd say... students in India just don't DO all the stuff SO shows depict them as doing...

I mean , 'babe'. Who the F.Scott Fitzgerald uses 'babe' these days ?!

About Anant's family...I was seriously like WOAHH when I first saw them. They were just so out of the blue and random with their OTT ghunghats and all. :S And the super irritating dadi-bhua or whatever...and that sadi hui bhabhi. Ugh. Too many saas-bahu OTT type female characters in that family.

Minus Anant's OTT family...and the sometimes slow-paced college antics; the show isn't bad at all. Sweet and simple. Let's see how long it lasts this way now. 😆

Navya is in it's third week right now and as of now I have to say that I'm finding the way they are developing the AN relationship to be nice...the characters and whatever their personalities are...and the way the friends are a part of the situation...it's quite life-like...aise hi hota hai college mein...he likes she...then you've got random ppl telling you or your friends telling you...planting that seed in your mind...then you start thinking, "does she like me? Does he like me" LOL...little little things like that have been nicely dealt with up till this point I feel despite some slight weird and OTT bits...worst being Anant's weird family ofcourse...fast forward material😆

I'm intrigued to see how and where they'll take the AN equation from this point on...and if they'll rush the love story or not and what they'll do after that...accordingly I can tune out😆
