@Anu...ditto on everything you said about gayism.I do not need visual treatment of ANY romantic scene of Gaurav and his bf (if Gaurav is shown to be gay). Honestly, narrow-minded or whatever, I actually look down upon gayism. So I am just not comfortable with the concept.

I like Uttara's rapport with Aditya. The way she teases him and all is very cute to watch. What I did not expect, and did not like is the bond the two sisters shares. But well, since everything started from midway, I guess they will give a backstory for why Devyani isn't behaving like a proper sister.

As for Priya and her suicide attempts, I guess we are not supposed to count the first two attempts as suicide ones. Although, the scene you just watched did make me feel like Priya came there to jump off the train or something, but it wasn't shown exactly in that way. She was falling off because Aditya called her from behind. And the first one was toh deffo and accident. But, like you, I am confused as to whether she wants to commit suicide or not. But the third time Aditya will have to save Priya, that definitely is one of Priya's suicide attempts. That's for sure.

And I so didn't know that Sanjog se Bani Sangini is a DJ show....NOW I am really scared for Maryada.

@Nimrah....see the long list of craps that DJ has produced😆, add Left Right Left and Jab Love Hua on the list too. I'm pretty sure there are some other shows that they have produced. Anyway, DJs have given us mixed products. Some of the shows started off well initially but then went down the drain, some started as snoozefest and got worse, and exception like BB also happened. BB had some weird plots and stuffs, but overall, it always remains as an enjoyable show to me.

Honestly, I don't think Maryada will have a good plot for long. Firstly, because it's DJs and secondly, all the 'bold' concepts its central focus sooner. Anyway, since I did not start watching this show because of its concept, I have already prepared myself in that way. Plus, every show loses its charm one day.....enjoy while it lasts....lol.

I so agree with whatever you said about the Aditya-Priya scenes, the lugayi bit, and everything else.

Oh they are dropping bigger hints of the guy being gay now.....the person he was talking to on the phone deffo appeared male...ermmm.....oh man this is going to be DAMN awkward to watch....is Indian TV really ready for this?😕

I think Devyani is a character with a lot of intrigue.....she seems to know about Gaurav but chooses to ignore it.....ditto with the Uttara situation....she senses that something is wrong but isn't saying anything....but she seems like a pleasant enough person otherwise.

Uttara is a really fun character for her interactions with Aditya....they seriously make an adorable pair with their cutesy teasing and a kind of buddy-like maasi-nephew relationship.

LOL I'm sure this show will go down the drain ultimately but for now, compared to even most recent DJ shows, they are building the story in an intriguing manner....I'm deffo intrigued to know everyone's stories and what happened in their pasts and what their secrets are.

As for Aditya-Priya....Priya's traumatic past and Aditya's determination to take away her pain and bring happiness in her life with whatever his (kinda mawaali like) antics are is cute sometimes too😆....

@Anu.....I found that dialogues so amusing were Aditya tells her that she called him chavannichap, but what did she see in that guy🤣🤣. Yeah, he has self-appointed himself as her guardian. He keeps giving her advice, pushing her to act upon the stored anger that she has.

I am liking him so far. He seems to be a flawed character. All of them are, actually. Anyway, i wouldn't call Aditya different from other male leads, but he isn't typical either. You so need to watch the promo....lol...would love to know YOUR take on Aditya after watching the very last bit of the promo😆

Btw, Anu, isn't it time for you to go to bed?

Yeah I'm starting to like him more in recent epis now too....he is deffo flawed and has his brusque attitude and yeah not exactly non-typical.....but he's being presented in an interesting fashion so far...keeps you guessing with what kind of odd thing he'll do or say next😆....and obviously his concern/protectiveness for Priya is intriguing to watch. Just watched yesterday's epi when he pushes Priya to confront that loser ex-fiance of hers but it backfires with the way his wife pounces on Priya instead and sunaaoes so much crap to her....I felt bad for here there....wish she or even Aditya had punched that loser there atleast....but I guess Aditya was too shocked by all the revelations and how Priya ended up being the one hurt in the entire drama....

LOL ok now I'm watching the most recent epi....uske baad will watch the promo and give you my take on it ;-) LOL

Naah it's not time for me to go to bed yet....don't have to wake up early tomorrow :P....I'm good for another half hour or so😆

Well, if you are watching the recent epi now, then I guess the precap will tell you enough, no need to watch the promo. It's another version of the scene in the promo I'm talking about😊.

I'm glad that Aditya didn't actually punch the guy. In the recent episodes, he has just been acting like an advisor. He really isn't taking things on his own hands. He is ummm....boosting up her courage...but is not making her fight his. He is basically, letting her deal with her problem. Plus, all the revelations has made him confused. So, I am okay with the fact that he didn't punch the guy. In another scenario, I would definitely like seeing him beating that guy up or something :P😆

Felt bad for Priya in that scene, and even in the scene from the next episode were she will be crying silently while pretending to be sleeping. I really feel sorry for the girl. People in the forum are now speculating that she probably wasn't raped, just wrongly charged of something, and put in jail.

The loser ex-fiance and his equally loser wife had me going 'W*F?!' Not only he made a mockery of his ex-fiance's character in his wife's eyes....but then, after being insulted by Mr.Pradhan, he is sitting with her on the jhula and laughing with her. And the wife also....eeekksss....what sort of 'sanskari' people are they? Disgusting, really!

I liked the line were Aditya said to Amar 'ab tu pitne wali baat kar raha hai' or sth of that sort😆

Woahhhhhhhh@ the new promo!😲😆.....This dude really is so unpredictable....is he going to push her into the water and then go and save her?? lolll....he seems quite pissed off about her seemingly endless suicide attempts....lol...."achhi planning ke saath yahaan tak pahunchi hai.....ab khatam kar le maamla"🤣.....you know it's hilarious how infront of her he acts so nonchalant but when she isn't looking, then he's so worried about her etc.etc....lol

Ok and again I'm so jarred by how he talks TOTALLY normally with his mother but around everyone else it easily seems to slip into 'thhare, manne, laage" types lingo......what is going on??? Is there a reason for this? Did anyone in the forum discuss this?? :S lol

Oh and I forgot to mention before but I like that song they play on the four women simultaneously....the sad one....it has pathos in it.....

And this Vidya is like CONSTANTLY decked up....even while sleeping....really annoying to watch.

And yes I'm liking how Aditya psychologically tries to guide/push Priya in a direction so as to battle/overcome her demons.....in that scene toh everything backfired like I said...so he didn't know what to think/say either.....like he said to himself later on, he was upset by seeing her crying too.

Anu, I had the same expression when I watched the promo. I was like😲....and then 😆. Aditya is definitely an unpredictable character. I thought that he would save her and hug her for the third time, and was busy rolling my eyes about that, when I saw that he pushed her in the water🤣. I guess he is trying to make her realize that commiting suicide isn't the thing for her. I mean...for no on really. He is very much irritated by her attempts and he probably just wants to show that when in a life-and-death situation, a person would try to survive at any cost. Basically, he just did all this, I guess, to make her give up on her attempts once and for all.

Yeah....he ALWAYS talks with Priya in that lingo. He does it with that servant/friend of his, with his bro and with Uttara. With Mr.Pradhan, the lingo isn't as dehati...it improves. With his mom, he talks in a very proper manner. Do you really think the forum people would discuss anything like this? They are busy drooling over Aditya, his dialogues and demanding more manhandling scenes. I did not check all the topics, so some people may have mentioned it....but this is not a quizzical issue for them.

I also think that she was molested. My guess is that she was wrongly charged of something, taken in custody, and then molested by a police. But due to some reason, forum people are shrugging off the molestation bit. I read in some article or sth....don't remember exactly....that something in her past has made her react negatively to the touch of any male. I don't see that happening if she was put into jail. Something worse must have happened to shaken up her self-esteem, to make her feel that she is unworthy of even asking something for herself.

Oh, I also like that track that was played for the four women. I would much appreciate it if they never play 'yeh ishq hai' on Aditya-Priya.

Yeah it was deffo a promo to grab attention....LOLL....I also think he's doing it to make her realize that she can't keep on playing with her life like this.....maybe it will be a turning point for her finally.

LOL I just checked out the forum....not exactly high level of discussion going on even though I see manyyyyyyy familiar faces floating around from various other forums. I read someone saying that Aditya's character is a very authentic Jaat types from Delhi....hmmm I wouldn't know since I haven't really met any authentic Haryaanvi Jaats of this sort in my life :S....only visited Delhi a few times and never met ppl talking like this :S lol......I guess he talks properly to Devyaani cuz she's the only character in the family who speaks in that polished/educated manner....everyone else is using the Haryanvi lingo...he seems to talk to a person in the same lingo they talk to him in.....glaring exception being Priya obviously but with her toh he does it more to irritate her....lol....but haan he seems to be most comfortable in the Haryanvi lingo....he even THINKS in that lingo😆.....I'm curious now to see if he'll ever talk normally or even in English with Priya....lol

Oh there was an article explaining why Priya reacts violently to any guy touching her? Hmmm that would add up....I don't get how ppl can brush aside the molestation theory....it seems very likely given her flashbacks...I agree with you....she was probably wrongfully jailed and then molested in some fashion after that.

LOL I agree....wish they'd come up with a better track for AP...that ishq haiiiiiii is damn lame.....waise DJs are capable of coming up with great music for their shows.....even though Choti Bahu was crap, there were two really nice songs in they played on Dev-Radhika and even BHPH has that 'naina jo begaane hain' song.....this 'ishq hai ishq hai' has to be the lamest I've heard in a while.....I'd rather they just play that tune on them only that they usually play in the bg in their scenes.

I wouldn't know either if Aditya's character is very authentic. And I can't really trust the forum people when it comes to these stuffs. To make everything about their favorite character seem flawless, they come up with their own realities😆.

I don't mind the lingo. It's just that I really wish he would speak in a better manner with Priya. He earned the 'chavannichap' comment, he really did. Hmmm, you have a point...which is good enough for me, unlike the reasoning that forum people came up with. Aditya probably talks properly with his mom, because she speaks in that manner. The lingo varies from person to person. Even with his brother, its not as Haryanvi as with Uttara, that servant/friend (what on earth is his name?), or with Priya. Priya ke mamley mein toh banda bilkul chavannichap harkatein karta hai or bolta bhi waise hi.

I really don't understand why people are brushing aside the molestation possibility. Initially everyone seemed to agree upon that...but after the fiance's entry, people are brushing it aside. Oh, some people are even thinking that maybe SSP had something to do with Priya's 'badnaami' and therefore she will marry Aditya to seek revenge. Ummm...isn't that unlike Priya? and isn't that such a tiring track? I really hope that doesn't happen.

Oh, I never watched CB...so don't know about the songs....neither about the BHPH one. But yeah, the DJ's are otherwise capable of coming up with better stuffs than yeh ishq hai. That is as bad as mahi mahi....worse, actually because of the 'aur kuch bhi nahi' bit. Some of the fans in that forum are also BHPH fans...others are Mahi Mahi fans, or Pratigya/GKD fans.....so, the forum already repulses me😆. Waise bhi...I have decided long back not to post in any other forum....so now that you guys watch the show, I do not need to even glance at that forum.
