I know what it is Lady M...LOL...It's just that it sounds really very weird to be uttered in public....I think you may have heard ppl using the term around you not to feel too weird...par humare yahan toh koi is term ko use nahin karta....so may be that's the reason I feel weird..

DAMN!!!! *Curses self for getting carried away by the sheer entertainment value of Munna's 'I want to replace Tom Cruise' interview - "agreed that the article is the joke of the millennium, agreed that it is one of the jokes that never gets old and sounds AS funny every time it is read but see what it has cost you- your 1st place in the CC" - weeps like Dil Ka Daactar on losing her first place* *sniffles*

LOL ... Mash - Actually in my regional language there is no term for SR. So I've never really heard it around me AT all, except in movies/serials. I was just saying it. I know what you mean by people salivating over it though. And the movies make it even worse by showing a coy bride decked in jewels sitting on the bed decorated with petals and flowers and what not waiting for the bridegroom! It DOES make it sound/look cringe-worthy.

Congrats everyone for the 62nd CC ... let's ramble some more ... tee, hee

Edit: Heyyyyyy Kavya! Long time ...

Ditto....obviously I also know what it means but the way it's used on desi TV in the various soaps and even in movies just makes it sound tacky.....BIG TIME....why give such a CORNY name to it? Mehhh....and upar se in recent years toh as the rabid "hawtness" obsessed fangirls have increased in number, the way they all salivate over this term is even more 🤢🤢🤢 to me.

Heyyy Kavya! How've you been?
