A friend FB messaged Gautam Hedge about MJHT ending and he said that he hasn't been told anything and quote, 'unless they fear I may start crying!' :) I love his sense of humour, that really added that extra layer to MJHT.

Pondering upon the question, as I bounce off your thought, as I already had writ in stone my definition of love vs desire, I have to say I am amused by your musings.

True, I trust destiny and so if my heart naturally, for no 'other' apparent reason inclines or turns away from another heart, or even if someone I meet begins to back away from me, I trust destiny that it is keeping us apart for a good reason. It is not about I am good and the other is bad, but rather that together we would not be good for each other.

So as you said, maybe that 'first' fluttering is a bud which blossoms into love. For me, it depends upon what your sight is aimed at, for anything fleeting such as beauty, wealth or fame, is mostly likely desire. Love requires sight into the soul, it could be a look, an action or manner but something more substantial, but it can happen, for even the smallest act is not insignificant nor worth loving a person merely for that alone.

I say this as a person who has fallen in love at first sight. 😳

I needed that DDLJ for Plan c, which if successful you will know and so I won't have to tell you!

I am also a Aamir khan fan too, which I believe Nupur to be too, as I hinted in my synopsis. She may love the filmy SRK but in reality, unconsciously or not she loves Aamir! The clues are all there, you just have to open your heart.

Aamir khan is in that elite list of actors, Guru Dutt's heirs as I call them, as compared to Dilip Kumar and his heir SRK, (not to lessen the success of any person mentioned, they have ALL achieved much worth mentioning ) that reminds me why acting is an art form. They project a character, a meaning, a message over the need to project themselves. I hope to add Arjun to that list, as I have already done with Sanaya, but only time will tell upon this issue. As for Rati, I have not known her in anything else, but do not doubt that she too has a gift. I guess with MJHT ending, we will now be able to see them flourish, spread their wings, breath in, exhale and fly! I can not help but fear for something Rinky once said, about Mumbai being a big city and opportunities few and far.

There is that moment in Ladki kyun in MJHT where Arjun backs away from Nupur, that honest haya, that envelops, engulfs layered details of a character that Arjun portrays so sublimely it reminded me of one of my favourite Aamir moments. As I said There are only a handful of actors that can truly act, that do not only impersonate themselves. It is in the details. In QSQT, in the song, Ghazab ka hai din, when Juhi sings, 'Dekh Lo Hum Ko Kareeb Say' (aamir's character is trying not to be distracted by Juhi's beauty) Aamir, for the flap of a butterfly's wings, looks at Juhi, knowingly, as to say, I want to look at you, so don't ask me too, for then we will 'both' be in 'trouble'; all that time he is resisting looking at her, and she sings, 'Dekh Lo Hum Ko Kareeb Say.'

As for MJHT, I am relieved and sad, I like your quote, true, I will be indebted always and this last year will hence forth be known as MJHT era.

As for Sonam, I have never seen any of her movies, I just liked that picture by 'Sonam' aka PVS, she has a beauty no doubt, both Sonam and Sonam. I am actually a Madhuri and Rani fan. Both missing, hopefully living well with Shilpa Aunty in Bangalore.

However something just didn't fit my heart's content in terms of Shah rukh's character returning to Kajol's life. He didn't think of her once, not one picture, not one mention, apart from his daughter's name, which I infer Rani's character chose, and then suddenly she returns and it is ALL he can think of, after that transformation. Not to mention his only once speech.

To make it right for me, there needed to be some extra scenes giving his character depth, even just a picture of her in his wallet.

Regardless, I am NOT a fan. Sorry.

you know i never watched QSQT😭 i dunno whenever i plan to watch something happens to thwart it, destiny *sigh* i loved the videos sabah, i love you for posting it. i loved the neend na aaye thing, juhi is singing 'tumhe neend na aaye'🤣 to aamir, I just love this scene! Juhi and Aamir, like MayUr? They both went on to find chemistry with others and success, and reunited for HHRPK, so maybe we can beseech destiny on ArTi's behalf, well actually it would still be our behalf.

He does! they both make you go crazy over them 😍☺️ you remember the embarrassed smile on mayank's face when nupur comments on his body *swooooooons* this is like that, takes you into hyperventilating fangirl mood. Aamir does that to me. Do you remember that post of my favourite scene of MJHT on mou's post? Can you imagine what Ghajini did to me?
you madhuri and rani fan good, i like that. i dont have anything against sonam, she is pretty, has good fashion sense but cannot act really. i left ' i hate love storys' mid-way, imran-sonam were equally bad in it.Oh! Still she is pretty. I think I will still keep the picture.

Let's see what the new show on Star One has to offer !

Old wine in a new bottle and that too, how many times?? This is the first thing you will ask, when you watch the latest show Star One's "Miley Jab Hum Tum". Same College, same type of characters with just a name change, the same old clash between the big and small city breds, their lingual and dressing differences, well you name it and the show has it!!

After all the hype that was created right from the selection of star cast to their character sketches, the thought flowing in after having a first glance at the show is that it has been inspired from many a serials which had a backdrop of college life such as 'Yeh Meri Life Hai', 'Dekho Magar Pyaar Se'..

Story: The world has shrunk and the story is far from reality, thanks to computers and television. The manner in which the small town girls become a laughing stock for the city brats does leave a bad taste in the mouth!! Why is it that the small towners' sentiments are touched upon time and again is a question to ask. The ragging scenes shown in the college is surely entertaining and comical, but again nothing new.

Characters: There are 6 characters sharing the limelight. Let's start with Nupur (Rati Pandey). After doing a typical Saas Bahu opera such as "Har Ghar Kuch Kehta hai" , this is a welcome change for her. She is acting well and is trying her best to be different when everything else is the SAME! Her character is about a small town girl who has the courage to face the world beyond her hometown "Mouraina" !

Her younger sister Gunjan (Sanaya) is one plain jane girl, timid but intelligent; nothing new in her character as well. Now the big city hip cousin of the girls Dia (Navina Bole) is the 'Diva' of the college, she looks nice, but badly needs voice modulation.

Talking about boys, Mayank (Arjun Bijlani) has impressed the most in the first week, with his cool but calm and collective attitude. He is the only character which is closer to real life in this college saga.

Samrat (Mohit Sehgal) is the cool dude and hunk of the college, a Basket ball Champ. Now if you think you have heard this or seen this character many times before, then you are not wrong at all. He disguises himself as a nerd just to play a prank on small town janes, looks very kiddish and not needed at all. Above all, the guy needs to learn acting fast as acting cannot be replaced by a smile on the face!

Uday (Jas Karan) is one dumb brother of Dia, who is always bullied by his sisters and her group of friends, who will later on turn into a dude and biggest supporter of Gunjan and Nupur!! This dude is really smart and puts up some freat facial expressions which are watchable!!

Sets and Ambiance: Talking of the college, the name reminds you of a detergent brand; even the exterior of the college has been used in shows such as Yeh Meri Life Hai and many movies of the past. The canteen looks passable. The pool side party that was shown in the first week looked nice though, but if you think of the huge money spent for this scene alone, we wonder whether this has really created an impact and even if it has, is it really worth it??

Well, we just wish that the audience is not taken for a ride with the same old story and college life drama. Remember, it is only the freshness in the product that keeps the interest alive…

i love the sense of humour of the writer, EXCEL name reminds him of a detergent brand🤣 good one. i agree with him mostly, the first week was BLAH, mayank was the only character who made sense in the first week. i was on the verge of quitting this show when MN audition was aired, i was immensely impressed by MN chemistry and mayank's sexy attitude😍 and it will end in two weeks *sigh* i am feeling nostalgic.

gunjan is nothing new, she was never new, the seedhi saadhi bholi bhali heroine *yawn*

samrat- the ghisa pita college ka cool dude *rolls eyes* he needs to learn to act , its been 2 years, he improved a bit but still has a long way to go.
