continuing to spam..

Fransisco D'Anconia had these copper mines that he inherited and to the world it looked like he was a serious good for nothing guy.. and he was so much in love with dagny his childhood sweetheart ..aah. I felt so much love for that character.

I loved the HP series for its over all characters, never liked snape much though, I knew there was more to him all along cos she kept dropping hints.. but still i liked him in the end,

I loved the character of Lupin, lol,. righteous in his own ways but dogged down by the fact that he was a werewolf. initially he was so much like a father figure for Harry. Ofcourse Dumbledore is an eternal fav, esp after dealthly hallows, he seemed so much more real ..as against being a great figure with no faults, Dumbledore became more human and lovable.

you love howard roark too⭐️, thats fabulous, he really did make a huge impact on me, many days after reading that book, while making a decision, i would wonder how roark would have done it, thats how deeply he affected me. but i dont think anyone can ever match upto the love roark had for his work. it seems like a sin, to call it his work, i guess he sees it like his god.

i did not read atlas shrugged, will definitely read it if i can.

you love HP too *hi-five* thank god, i was afraid i might get teased for reading kids books. but HP 'does not come into the children's books category, it had so many messages & emotions if we read carefully.

so you like emma, hmmmm yeah she is nice, but i thought lizzie was a lot more smart & mature, but i agree emma is more fun than lizzie, her antics are hillarious

ahaa Now I m not fond of too many characters, only very few characters, its the books that interest me more..but some just stay in the mind ..and Roark, what do I say about him..it really feels so good to know that someone can be so uncorrupted, so complex yet so straightforward. Look at the love story , its as weird as it gets when it begins..but then it moves on in a way they understand each other, quite simply..

LOL considering I know the HP series by heart, I wont ever call those kids books 😆

I'm yet to be impressed by anything as magical as the series..

I love every character, every plot, every sub plot, every dialogue of the HP books 😆

@ mayank: i concur. he gets explosive when he is around nupur. i think its great that nupur affects him like no one else & vice-versa but that same thing lead to great many fights between them. the fact that even the smallest of things affect each other so much that their fights are as vicious as their deep love for each other. they go to both extremes real well.

@ remus lupin: word👍🏼 i loved him most too. he is such a nice guy really. i cried when he died, i mean he just had a son damn! i. love how he looks after harry too.

i did not like snape initially but i feel sorry for him. he loves lily so much, his case is that of an unrequited love. i feel bad for all one-sided love cases.

but dumbledore takes the cake, i sympathise with him most, he loses his family, his bro hates him, the person he loves betrays him. i was especially touched when he says he refuses post becoz he does not trust himself with power. he lived a life of self-loathing.

so your most fav are: roark, dumbledore & francisco

Ah yes that why Mayank and Nupur are worth a watch, they have that explosiveness that gives u a feeling that they will kill each other if only they dint love each other so much ,,,no comfort in their lovestory, but a lot of comfort in their love.

@I felt very bad when dobby died :( :( he was one of my favs too..I mean I know not human, but dobby was like someone I knew and I really thought the similarities were shocking..fiercely loyal, wanting to be free, the desire to make a place for self..i was moved by harry;s pain.. and luna;s eulogy as well I remember.

Female characters.. Love Nupur, she is as flawed as mayank..and i love that abt her.. She is not perfect, she is just everything u wud not expect to see in a heroine, she is selfless and loving ,. very caring, yet she is not sacrificial in the sense that she doesnt sacrifice small things in life, yet when it comes to things that matter she would be the first to sacrifice, She wont spend all her time crying, even in a wretched life, she 'll try to live her life to the fullest, she is such a nautanki - a complete drama queen, as much as i was not in favour of such a trait, she changed my opinion. she was the one who stood her ground against a person like mayank, challenging and fighting him. she maintains a child-like innocence about her.

emma, again not perfect like u said, not as smart as elizabeth, not as endearing either, has too many faults, yet love the way she understands her mistakes (I lovethat abt nupur too) ..doesnt mind the apologies and she is ready to do anything for the sake of correcting her mistakes ..

she is more mature , equally immature, volatile and fun ..

Rosie.. from Guide(the RK narayanan book).. aah u know this is one character which was done justice to on screen as well ..like the song aaj phir jeene ki tamanna hai..aaj phir marne ka irada hai...so beautifully captured the true nature of rosie..

and she was one of those rare characters that was not shown as being bad though she left her husband..it was more because he was unable to appreciate her talent..

Oh by the way have u read gone with the wind? 😆 I get fascinated by scarlet ohara an Rhett butler as well...LOL...

i loved like totally loved your description of nupur, you described her in a nutshell she was never the conventional heroine, infact the kind who kicks the stereotypical hindi show heroine into dustbin & redefines her. i love that about MN too, they were never the conventional couple, you described them so aptly, they would kill each other if they did not love each other, the fact that two people could feel such strong emotions for each other is fascinating.

yeah, dobby was another heart-breaker, he was another undercurrent which surfaces through out the book, him & kreacher depicted how humans tend to exploit & ill-treat any living beings sub-ordinate to them and the same elves lead to their down-fall. they are not human but they do have feelings & rights they get deprived of. i love everything about HP, it has everything in it. i felt bad when fred weasley died, really too many people died in deathly hallows.

i love your description of emma, she had her short-comings but she was brave enough to accept them, i think i will have to read emma again. i did like kingley a lot, i loved his ever patient & never wavering love for emma.

rosie, i did not read the book, but i watched the movie, i always thought dev anand was someone who knew what he was doing, in an era where leading lady was nothing but a prop, he had enough guts to make one with not so conventional heroine, but waheeda rehman stole the lime-light for me, i loved her confrontation scene with her husband where she rejects him, she is one graceful actress.

gone with the wind, i read that book partially, it was too complicated for me to understand, scarlett does come across as strong-willed, stubborn, though not high on morals an intresting character

thank u (modesty is a trait i possess very little of 😆 ) ..well yes yes yes.. on what u mentioned abt kreacher and dobby...one led to the downfall the other saved...its strange isnt it,,how kreacher changes with a little love.. I feel that the HP series are something that can be studied in detail and comparative analysis can be done of each situation to that in real life.

oh yes i love knightly .. i think i love all the characters in conjuction..thats y its always mayank and nupur..knightly and emma.. rosie n raju (who by the way is flawed yet he changes so believably in the end..) . I like Dominique too along with Roark 😊 ...aah u like Gail waynand?? I dont..I dont know why though. I think his giving in caused me to dislike him..well i certainly agreed with dominique then ..

the way u keep higlighting "in a nutshell" is fun 🤣

I have not seen star trek :( always wanted to..esp the way the chars are talked abt...never watched it ..

gail wnyand, dunno i dont like him as such but i dont hate him either. i thought he was just another normal person who we encounter everyday, i dont blame him for doing what he did, he is human and certainly not Roark but the fact that he did show some acts of redemption in the end elevated him in my eyes.

i asked you about star trek because i am crazy about star trek, since we seem to have a lot of favourites in common, i thought you love it too.

you should watch star trek, if you get the chance, not exactly like fountainhead or HP, but its fun in its own way, my fav is spock. he is the first officer on the starship uss enterprise, and is best friends with captain kirk, he is an alien & from a planet called vulcan. vulcans have no emotions, they are creatures of pure logic & reason, its funny to see spock's exasperated looks at the antics of earthlings😆

I m seriously tempted to watch star trek :) I will give it a try sometime soon. I think I can relate to spock..even i get exasperated by the acts of the earthlings🤣

I thot Gail Waynad was so different in the sense that he understood roark in a way only dominique could, yet he did lose his way . yup I believe roark forgave him ..I was not so forgiving somehow 😆 ..Did u dislike toohey or keating more?? 😆

Ah but i like Fracisco D'Anconia without a pair, on his own :) I dont know his unrequitted love (not even unrequitted, its strange she loves him in their childhood..:S) is something I always felt for.

I think u wud know i love this book acts of faith as well,( i think i mention it in every ff) ever read that one?
