The Manuscript Marauders Bingo Challenge Thread
Rahul Mahajan, the son of late Pramod Mahajan who had married Dimpy Ganguly in March on national television through the show 'Rahul ka Swayamvar', beat his wife for a SMS message in the early hours of Thursday and a furious Dimpy left the house at 3.30 am with a vow never to return.
Sources say that Rahul Mahajan wanted to read the content of the message just received on her phone but could not do so as the keypad was locked. But when Dimpy, who was sleeping at the time, told Rahul to let her sleep and not disturb with such a trivial matter, he got furious and started beating her.
The scared lady ran to passage and from there called up a friend who picked her up around 4 am. When the friend picked Dimpy from Rahul's Worli house, her left cheek was swollen, head had a lump and bruises on her legs—all telling the story of Rahul Mahajan's violent behavior towards his better half.
Dimpy also told friends that it was not for the first time that Rahul hit her and it had starred as early as one and half month after her national marriage. However, the brutality had increased in the past one month and now it had become unbearable.
She vowed never to return to Rahul after this brutal experience in his house.
In the meantime, Dimpy Ganguly's parents arrived at Rahul's place from Kolkata after knowing about the matter. Sources say that it was nothing new and Dimpy had been calling her friends and well- wishers and narrating his violent behavior for a while now.
On one occasion, Dimpy had even called Rahul Mahajan's mother to her home and told about all this. But at that time Rahul became very angry and told Dimpy not to involve his mother in to all these things.
It may be recalled that some days before Payal Rohtagi, the bollywood actress and Rahul Mahajan's ex- girlfriend, had complained that he was embarrassing her by constantly messaging and making phone calls. Now, it seems that Payal was right and Rahul had already gotten suspicions about his wife Dimpy.
Though a flirty Rahul is nothing new for the public as they have all seen him on the 'Bigg Boss', where he flirted with Payal Rohatgi and Monica Bedi. He was a glib talker and changed color according to situation.
Even his earlier marriage with Shweta Singh had ended on a bitter note in year 2008 and the allegation was the same of domestic violence.

Awwwwwwww ... what a cute interview ... just light a flair and throw it in the sky, and I'll come find ya ... LOL ... I have a sense of adventure too, is that not good enough for you? How cute can these two get? Even off screen? Although I know that it is scripted for most part, it is still so cute ... and these two are adorable twosome :-)
Btw, I love the line in your siggy. It was one of Booth's best ...

I don't know why Anu I thought so ... maybe because Demily or any other tele-characters off screen too are constantly expected to be in character ... but maybe that's not the case with everyone. LOL with David and Emily they move in and out of character all the time....it's like a joke they share with each other or with the audiences....you don't know where BnB end and Demily begin....and I mean that in the bickering sense or the way they pull each other's leg over what their characters do....that is the most adorable aspect of them together.....I don't think they do it cuz it's expected of them....they just do it for the fun of it....it's natural to them....that's the way it appears to me atleast....I think I've seen enough scripted interviews otherwise to know when I see a rare NON scripted one....
But I liked when the interviewer asks Emily if Brennan can take down Booth's love interest ... LOL it was so cute. LOL yeah I loved that too....seriously Emily was awesome....she's like, "I haven't met her yet but I'm sure I could take her"😆....and another thing the way the interview opens with David deliberately mispronouncing the Maluku Islands...there are so many similar traits they share with their characters in some ways that that is why even if we think they are "trying" to be in character...it's actually just natural to them....it's something DB would do and so would Booth....and vice versa...correcting him is something Emily would do and would Brennan :-)

LadyM, I read Judith McNaught's 'Almost Heaven'. I wasn't wowed by the story either, but I found it good enough. I really liked the leads, Ian and Elizabeth. There conversations were witty and interesting, IMO.
There were certain things which I didn't appreciate though.
1. The repetitive description of Ian's 'sinful and dangerous rugged handsomeness', and Elizabeth's 'angelic and alluring beauty'. They are extremely good-looking people......d'uh we get it already!
2. The unnecessary and broad description of the kisses. They were just kisses, why devote half of page writing about it?
3. Then there are some other these and that stuffs which irritated me.
Barring all these, I liked reading the book. Since I have learned to skip the 'lovemaking' bits, so the characters weren't tainted for me. Which is exactly why, I liked both Elizabeth and Ian so much. Especially Ian ;)
