Mels/Mash....did you guys notice how Brennan tells Hodgins that Booth's taught her that offering of unsolicited advice is a sign of love?? LOL and exactly two minutes after that SHE offers some advice to Booth...."don't be a hero....don't be YOU"....*ahem*....does she realize what that meant?
Exactly Anu!😆 I am loving the way they are developing Brennan's side of emotions. She claimed to not have 'an open heart' and being 'unable to change'. She never said that she doesn't love him....she thinks she will fail him. Yet, we saw that hurt look repeatedly in her eyes. And now she goes on to giving 'uncolicited advice', but doesn't have enough faith in herself to accept that she loves him. This again brings us to the point that all she needs is to trust herself with emotions and trust their love.
The goodbye scene was nice....Hodgins making that bug chart for her...awww....the way she hugged him....then what Angela said to her...the way she hugged HER.
I absolutely loved Brennan-Hodgins scene. Hodgins is such a sweetheart. Awwww @him making bug chart for her. And he looked so touched when she said 'I love you too'. Angela gave a vibe such as 'I hope when you come back, you come in terms with your feelings'😆. Its just the way she hugged her and all, that made me feel that way....lol
Btw I think she hugged everyone BUT Booth....right?? Ppl are bitching about how they didn't show a kiss or a hug but do they realize that in that moment it would not have sat right in the scene?? Although I did briefly wonder for a moment if Booth would hug her when he kinda walked forward towards her a bit.....but the handholding somehow touched me so much more! It was so beautifully shown! I think ppl have lost appreciation for simple poignancy and subtlety....it's sad, really.
The fact that he came forward, looked deep into her eyes, extended his hand for her to hold and she held it is what made the scene so much more touching. I doubt if a hug would have done that magic. BnB hugs are beautiful, no doubt....but this hand-holding had so much more to offer.
Those people will complain...see, we got a hand contact, not a body contact....so that is enough for them to overlook the intensity, the poignancy of the scene and start bashing what they got.
