Haww, the januables got fired from ZND! No surprise there - I didn't think Mr. Bootiful could pull off anchoring very smoothly. The ArTi and MoNaya fans are fighting about that in the ZND forum. 😆

The fireworks would've been more spectacular if MoNaya were replaced by KaJen. :P

*sigh* I've been watching so many old PM scenes today.....I noticed some things in some of them that I've never noticed before....LOL....I need to make some avis.

I love this scene.....the way she reaches out to brush the tears from his face but he takes her hand and folds it b/w his hands and then kisses it and cries.....MB was superlative in this scene.....what a pair these two were *sigh* ....and it just breaks my heart the way he keeps on repeating that he can't...he just CAN'T let her go....he CAN'T live without her....I remember watching this scene the first time it aired and thinking that as audiences our emotions totally mirrored those of Prem's in this moment.....HOW could Mukti EVER think that he could let her go....never...he wouldn't be the Prem who loved her so madly if he had.....to me, the end of the scene was when he stopped her from leaving by holding her hand....I cut out the bit where they show Devki running towards Prem from the other side :P LOLL

LMAO, I remember rolling my eyes when Devki showed up and almost ruined that scene. Good that you cut that bit out. :P

Word to everything that you said about the scene. PM were truly a class apart. I think not even Kekta can come up with another couple that's as good as they were. I wonder why Manoj quit television after this role. He could have done wonders when given the right character to play. Lord knows we need more capable actors in the TV industry today!

I still don't get Devki's point. Ekta had Manoj and she had Tina. Why not bring her back as Mukti? Why break the hearts of hundreds of PM fans? Sometimes I get the feeling that Kekta has had many failed relationships - hence she can't portray ANY couple getting a happy ending. *shakes head*

LOL who knows what sadistic trip Ekta's mind was on when she did this to PM....I think they were using Mukti's soul in this scene to give a "justification" for showing Prem moving on vis a vis the way the creatives had worked it out....but I love how Prem still refused and kept on refusing for a while...in my mind toh he NEVER ended up with Devki :P.....the Devki track was SO forced, man....ughhh.....they just wanted to drag the dumb story out...and then thopoed this Devki on us....ughhh

Yep, PM are a class apart....scenes like this prove it time and again.....I still don't think any other couple...K-soap or non-K soap wala can match up to this level....story-wise or acting-wise.

MB basically quit to go pursue movies...LOL...but I think now he's just chilling.....I read a brief article somewhere though that him and TJ might host an epi of some travel show on Star One....I think MB doesn't want to waste his time on the usual crap on TV....can't say I blame him....lol.....what he did with Prem/UD was iconic....maybe he doesn't want to waste his time doing mediocre/repetitive crap then....I wish he somehow gets a chance in the YRF shows though.....maybe there will be new YRF shows later on and he can be in one of those.

The Devki track was an undisputed fiasco. For me, Prem died with Mukti after her accident.

They made such a mockery out of Prem's character. First he fell for Devki, which was painfully forced. They hooked up, had sex and then she vanished. Then he randomly married Palchin. To make it worse, Manoj was replaced by Vikas Sethi who couldn't justify the character to save his life. The subsequent 20 year leap, Devki's return and the ultimate circus that followed made me wish that Prem had died when Mukti did!

So in short, for me the real Prem was the one who loved Mukti and was played by Manoj Bohra. The rest of the crap was twisted and easy to ignore.

MB might host a show on Star One? I can get his apprehension. After Yudi/Prem, playing a lame character would only insult him. He and Tina should do Rishta.com type of shows. I'd so have watched it if MT were playing RI!

Dude, I don't even bother exercising my brains to think about the Palcchin disaster and the replacement with Vikas etc. etc....Prem died LONG before all that....LOL....

Yeah MB might be hosting just one epi of a travel show....that's what I read....I would also have loved to see MT as RI....they'd have been awesome.....although Kavi-Shruti are doing a great job too....Kavi especially is quite a talented actor for a newcomer:-)

I haven't seen that many off screen moments between the vampire diaries cast, so can't comment. Where did you see those icons? On IF?

I'm sure Kavi is a good actor. It's a pity that the YRF shows have been overshadowed by the saas-bahu crap. Has R.com been approved for a second season yet?

I did watch R.com for the first few epis. :P

Then I got bored because of all the namoonas that showed up to hunt for partners.

I'm watching ZND ... the januables are strictly average ... Mohit can't host for nuts ... no wonder they were kicked out.
