Waise romances aren't always fluffy.....I have read some non-fluffy good romantic books....But yes there's a bit of fluff here n there in some GOOD romance novels as well...If you want to read good romantic novels I'll recommend Nora Roberts. Recently toh she hasn't written anything that great but some of her early books are really great. There's this one book that I recommended to Lady M as well....'Born in fire' by NR....she liked it too. It's one of my favorite book

You can try that book I send you..the vampire one by NR...It has all the masala..socerers, witches, vampires, shapeshifters...It's thrilling....and of course romantic too with some smart, witty interactions.....PLUS a HOT bad-ass rude guy with a sharp tongue and bad temper😛.....NR's characters are fun!

I would ditto all that Mash has said about Nora Roberts....there are indeed some really good romantic novels by her.....recently she's been so-so but she's written a great many classic good ones too....this vampire series that Mash is mentioning is really good with some fantastic, interesting characters....ESPECIALLY the vampire...haha...he was my fav. actually....one of the most interesting fiction vampires ever.


Mash, have you read her 'table for two' chef series?? That was cute too....lol....and I love the entire McGregor series and even the Three Island sisters trilogy.....Have you read 'from this day?'....it's among her earliest romance novels....very sweet, simple story.

As for SS...I think I think I have pretty much read all of his books....though I don't like his books much😆....I prefer mysteries to thrillers...and less blood n gore...

*high five* Cian was my favorite character from the series as well......He's not a teenage boy vampires these teenagers drool over (Sarah's Damon n Edward😆). He's a MAN. Really really sexy! 😆

I have read all the books you are mentioning except 'From this day'...I might have read it too...But I m not sure...I'll check if I have...lol....I like the McGreggor....The whole noisy bunch of Mcgreggors were entertaining...The Three Island Trilogy was good as well...I loved the last two books...Ripley n Mia were some strong kick-ass witches....lol
